Yay! I knew Trials Evolution would pop up on a daily, it was just a matter of time. A little cheaper would have been nice... but $9.99 is still pretty good.

I'm also considering Star Trek for $7.49. Heard it was a pretty buggy game on release, I wonder how much it's improved since then.

I like Steam. But Valve's ability to update data on their sites and have servers that can handle the loads is really lacking this sale. The Community Market server has been particularly atrocious the past 24 hours. Valve, if you don't have the infrastructure don't do the trading card thing until you do!!!

The spike of traffic at every switch is so enormous it's pointless to try to eliminate it. They probably could invest a million dollar for their server infrastructure and still it won't be that much better than what they have now.

I also heartily recommend Train Simulator 2013, if you have any passing interest in trains whatsoever. I enjoy sims that involve driving large vehicles though so I'm a bit biased.

I'm not complaing about the switch traffic so much as I'm complaing about the Community Market server. I've been day trading cards since this sale has started (actually before). And the last 24 hours the Market server has really struggled. It's taken me as much as a full minute to see what's in my inventory. I feel like I'm on dial up.

And speaking of another steam piss me off thing, downloaded defiance on one computer. Transferred the data to the other, but since it gets a post install update the damn steam client deleted the 11gb folder and redownloaded it. Was only a 50 second transfer on my network, the steam download just a weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee bit longer.

As for the adding money to wallet to buy things, yes it sucks but it is a security feature. Did you use a new form of payment by chance?

I'm not sure if it is just with new forms of payment or not when you add funds to your Steam wallet it locks trading and market buying for 7 days I think. It is there because of people using stolen credit cards to buy stuff and trade it away.
