Remember the first 2 rounds of the playoffs last year?

That's the only thing that people may see.

He certainly had a great playoffs last year... But that's about it, not much before, and even less since.

Anyone watch the Penguins Rangers end of game today? The Rangers and their fans totally got trolled. NYR thought that they had won the SO, and both teams (and about half the fans also) had left, but they called back onto the ice because NYR's SO goal was disallowed. Then the Penguins ended up winning (and were acting like they had won the Cup). It was just too funny, especially for me. I wonder if NYR fans had gone to sleep immediately after thinking they had won. They'll be in for a rude surprise tomorrow morning. :biggrin:

Very glad that the Canadiens GM took matters into his own hands and traded away or demoted the players that their coach was insisting on playing that were really under performing.

Bourque did nothing this year, he had better step it up in the AHL or he is done. Nice to see the Hab's power play come alive agaisnt the Flyers.

I won't disagree with that one. The Penguins should wear those vintage colored jerseys more often too. I really like those. Definitely makes them look more "Penguin like" but in a good way.

Habs took the Blues down. 1-1 on the "test" week so far.

Pens play the islanders back to back. Should be some good games. Usually the islanders give the pens fits and thats been when they weren't too hot of a team.

Habs go 2-1 in this tough week of games as they beat the Bruins 2-0. I went to go see the Sharks game and they lost to the Coyotes in a shoot out.

And the Habs close out the test week 2-2, losing badly to the Rangers. In a repeat of the playoffs, they beat the Bruins and then play really flat against the Rangers. The Rangers are at least as fast as them and bigger and tougher.

Seems that they are average against good teams.

Road trip tomorrow morning to watch the Blackhawks beat the Blue Jackets.
Sad that the 365 mile drive, plus 4 lower level tickets and hotel are still cheaper than 4 lower level tickets to a home game.

So Scott gets 4 games for "punching" Jackman, but yet nothing for Mitchell affter ripping Letang's helmet off and using it as a weapon against Letang. Nice consistency NHL.
