Like I've been saying for what seems like 5 years now... all the wings needed was a healthy roster.

Younger and faster as well, Babcock has them playing hungry. Since Jimmy Howard has gone on IR they've gone 10-2 with their 3rd and 4th string goalies.

I guess technically with Howard, Gustavson, and Franzen all out, we aren't "healthy". But not nearly missing them like having Z, Pav, Weiss, Helm & others all out at once.

I'm shocked the Preds are continuing to hold on as well as they are. Dealing with some injuries right now but did just get Rinne back so hopefully there is still some potential peaking left in this team.

Ouch, Kane goes down with what is most likely a season ending injury. So much for the Blackhawks making a title run and so much for the chance at an MVP or the Art Ross trophy.

Oh and out of curiosity I went to ESPN to see if they would even mention the injury on their front page. Of course not. But there is a link to a cricket article. Because the American sports fan is more interested in cricket than the NHL, or because ESPN holds some grudge against the NHL? Regardless, it is quite pathetic.

It's been that way since the NHL moved to OLN, oh, excuse me, Versus, oh wait, NBC Sports, what like 10 years ago.

ESPN is for football and basketball. When football and basketball is not on, they show hockey or baseball or whatever is cheap.

Will be interesting to see if the Hawks are going to make some trades or just concede the season at this point.
I'd like to see Sharp and Bickell get traded but that isn't going to happen. Shaw and Smith can go too. Same with Roszival. He is beyond terrible.

Good to hear there will not be a suspension on the Kane injury. Figured star + injury = someone staying at the house for awhile. Good to see wussification has been minimized in this instance.
