Will be interesting to see if the Hawks are going to make some trades or just concede the season at this point.
I'd like to see Sharp and Bickell get traded but that isn't going to happen. Shaw and Smith can go too. Same with Roszival. He is beyond terrible.

No way they concede with a 9 pt lead from the last playoff spot. They'll definitely be making moves which is exciting for fans.

that was a pretty light cross check, I doubt most people would even register it as one.

And in the slow motion replay it appears he was fine immediately after the push, and lost his footing well after contact.

That play did not look like intent to injure. Was just bad timing and he fell wrong. Unfortunate for the Hawks.

Diehard Hawks fan here. I don't think it was malicious. Just really bad timing and a fluke. Did the touch to the small of the back influence the fall? No idea. I can see arguments that it did and arguments that it didn't.
I'm not angry over it. Wasn't anything even close to what Hansen or Torres did to Hossa.
Just a fluke play.

And I don't blame the Hawks for getting in Petrovich's face after it. Kind of have to do that when one of your star players goes down.
I expect a clean game tonight. It wasn't a malicious hit and I think the players know that.

Well the Leafs just did what many thought was impossible, they managed to move David Clarkson and his shitty contract to Columbus for the uninsured contract of Nathan Horton who is on IR. The Leafs can easily afford to eat that contract and are left with more cap space while getting rid of Clarkson.

I really don't understand all the media attention on the Leafs and the trade deadline. Their players are overpaid under performers. If they were so good, the Leafs would not have sucked so bad for so long. Even with decent draft picks for years the club is bad. I will feel sorry for any team that trades for the "star" Leafs players that supposedly are available.

They use software that filters "spam" out like this automatically. They are pulling this data from an API of another Online Social Media Marketing company. Same idea as favorable tweets showing up on Product pages online.

Somebody on there end screwed up the filtering design or the company allowed something through the API they shouldn't have.

Lets hire a GM who was the GM of quite possibly one of the bottom 3 in the entire league, and a no-name coach who is obviously destined to fail.

Let waste away the prime years of our superstars, so we can go back to another 10 straight years of last place and get 3-4 more lottery picks in the draft.

Penguins are pretty much a lock for the play-offs. The coach was extremely good in Junior Hockey, and that is where most coaches learn their trade.

as a canes hater-because-of-JR i am pleased to see the pens hire him and thus certainly bring that team to ruin. pens fans coming to raleigh for games have been a gigantic pain in the ass for a long time.

ron francis is screwed for years as the hurricanes GM because of deals JR left.
i cannot believe he [JR] got another job. and i cant believe the pens let go both the coach and the gm at once. that is still baffling to me.

i stopped watching the hurricanes 2 years ago and this year i have been following tampa bay. its way more fun like this.

Yeah I dunno about those trades. Time will tell. I do know that Crosby needs to get the lead out of his ass. Good thing we got malkin while Crosby has been virtually useless.
