Noticed that he never responded to the $50 challenged that he could not move the goal posts on.

He never answered these questions:

1. If we're being gouged with regular 30 and 40 cent hikes, why isn't gas much more expensive? These "gougers" are really doing a bad job gouging us.
2. What happened to your $5-$6/gallon gas prediction in the spring?
3. What about that $10/gallon prediction you made?

Why didn't he answer them? Because he was very wrong and knows it.

I don't quite get why people make such a big deal out of proving McOwned wrong. The guy is literally dumber than a tree stump. It's like being overly-proud of outsmarting a rock.

Well... ofcourse you did.

LOLOLOL

Yeah, I still hold out a slight hope that he will say "Yeah, I admit, I was wrong" and gain a little respect. But it is pretty obvious that it won't happen.

The problem is he keeps doubling down on his statements/justifications that are disproved my facts.

So he becomes a continual whining troll, that is seemingly blessed by the Moderators here.

He apparently desires that attention and does not care about the impact to his reputation. He already lost his Elite status due to his actions.

You guys shouldn't be so down on McCowen. We all know what happened with him and isn't it easy to understand his travails now? He led a good life but then he had some big setbacks. Now, he has become miserable. He can see only darkness everywhere. He has let his problems define his very being. They are the chief source of meaning and satisfaction in his life now. There is a saying that "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" but this is wholly bs. Most people who face devastating challenges in life do NOT become stronger. Most just become broken.

Judging by all the posts consecutively by my fans on ignore they are obviously the miserable ones.

Are you miserable too?

Would you like to join the list and be happy?

I'd agree if:

A. I didn't know of plenty of people who suffered big time in their life, (for real, not in some spoiled first worlder shithead version of 'suffering' ie "I didn't get handed everything I deserve just for existing now I'm mad at everyone who succeeded wahh wahhh wahhh!") overcame it, and are among the coolest, most generous, most well-balanced people you'd ever meet.

B. He's a total douchebag.

The shocking truth about Wal-Mart and gasoline prices

Gasoline prices are at their lowest levels since February. But while that might spell relief for consumers, surprisingly, it may not benefit the world’s largest retailer.

When I'm not putting about 15% of my paycheck into my gas tank, maybe I'll have some disposable income.
If I did have more disposable income, it would likely NOT be spent at Wal Mart since they were a main driving force that sent many of the jobs to China when they demanded their suppliers find cheaper labor while directing them to China.
Losing those jobs is one of the biggest reasons why the middle class hasn't really seen a pay raise for the past decade.

404 No shitting found. I asked nicely.

Having to put people on ignore is a sign of intellectual and psychological weakness. Not strength.

You have nothing to be proud of if a chorus of voices can and does rationally point out your logical flaws and inaccuracies, and you respond by effectively closing your eyes.

This is why you're not respected, liked, or well-received here, or anywhere, and until you fundamentally change that you will continue to be a laughingstock.

Exactly. Dave is seriously mentally ill. That is the only possible explanation. He might as well just come out and say that he has been owned because EVERYONE knows it is the truth. People know he is a liar and scum.

Meanwhile, gas prices all over my town are under $3.10 and Dave is too big of a baby to admit it or answer the questions posed to him.

Hey Dave:

1. If we're being gouged with regular 30 and 40 cent hikes, why isn't gas much more expensive? These "gougers" are really doing a bad job gouging us.
2. What happened to your $5-$6/gallon gas prediction in the spring?
3. What about that $10/gallon prediction you made?

Answer them, Dave McCoward. Everyone can see you refuse to answer them and everyone knows why. You're making a bigger fool of yourself by the minute.

Zaap summed it up nicely, but I'll add to it. The measure of a man is not how he wins, but how he loses and how he comes back from those setbacks and defeats. Dave obviously is a miserable person. I'll be honest -- I didn't believe Dave at first. I really thought he was just a normal guy who was really bored and just trolled us all for laughs. After knowing him for years (I lurked AT since the late 90s), I can say that I was wrong. He really is that crazy.

Even with that being said, I'd probably have a little compassion for Dave if not for:

1. He is a blatant liar as proven over and over again.
2. He has reading comprehension problems, as seen over and over again.
3. Correcting him or asking him questions results in him diverting, calling names, and then doubling down on his stupidity. When you force the issue, he puts you on his ignore list. Why? He knows he has just had his ass handed to him again.

If Dave is going to sling shit and throw stones, he's going to get it right back and unfortunately for him, he isn't smart enough to take most of us on. His debate performance, if you can call it that, as been monumentally embarrassing. Dave has me on his ignore list and we both know why -- he has been severely humiliated and owned due to his own idiocy.

Rockefellers join anti-fossil fuel drive

A grass-roots movement against fossil fuels has secured its highest profile convert, as the family foundation built on the riches of John D Rockefeller’s Standard Oil announced plans to cuts its oil and coal investments.

The Rockefeller Brothers Fund joins some 800 institutions and individuals, responsible for $50bn of investment, that have pledged to sell some or all of their fossil fuel holdings.

Stephen Heintz, the fund’s president, suggested that the oilman who founded Standard Oil in 1870 would approve and would be “leading the charge” into renewable energy if he were alive today.

The World Bank announced at Monday’s meeting that more than 1,000 companies and investors had expressed support for putting a price on the carbon dioxide emissions from burning fossil fuels that drive climate change.

A total of 73 national and 11 regional governments responsible for 54 per cent of global greenhouse gas emissions are now pricing carbon or plan to do so, the World Bank said, including China, the EU, and several US states.
Separately, some of the world’s largest institutional investors managing $24tn in total have backed carbon pricing this week, including BlackRock and Calpers.

More than 120 world leaders, including US President Barack Obama, are due to set out more actions to combat climate change at the one-day UN summit on Tuesday.

The meeting is supposed to bolster political momentum ahead of a much larger conference in Paris at the end of next year, where negotiations on a global climate agreement to lower emissions are due to be finalised.
