Are you paying $3 in New York?
I'm paying $0; I don't have a car.
Are you paying $3 in New York?
Highly doubtful since they have the 2nd highest gasoline taxes in the U.S. It appears that the "Government Thugs" are more greedy than the "Oil Thugs"!

Speaking of "Government Thugs".
It will be interesting to see what happens here in California next year when the new "carbon" gas tax hits us. We already have $.53/gallon tax, next year it's going up another 0.16 to 0.76/gallon.
Thanks "California Government Thugs".
Just pointing out how ridiculous what you're doing is.
Indeed. :|

move back to ohio, its better here and you know it! :awe:
Oil down over 3% today (below $90) on OPEC increase and strong dollar. Average US prices for gas at 4 year lows (not here - Still quite a bit higher than the lows even earlier this year).
Be interesting to see what effect the Ebola outbreak here in the U.S. has on prices.
Yet, you are here too.

If oil is down then why did the price of gasoline just jump 15 cents/gallon locally? I guess if the price of oil goes up ... the price of gas will drop?

There are other factors which affect the local price of gas that have nothing to do with the price of oil itself. Taxes, regulation, lack of local competition in a local area, local supply issues in a given locality, transportation issues, weather events, etc can all stymie price declines and may even prop up gas prices even as other areas in the US experience the benefits of prices dropping.
It isn't always some massive conspiracy of " unrestrained greed". Never mind that when prices drop no one shouts about how oil companies about being so benevolent and good but when prices go up you get guys like the OP who go on tirades about how evil and greedy oil companies are and how they are actively pushing prices higher, etc.

LOL! The head bullshitter slapping the label on someone else. Priceless.
Oh, and Dave, prove your local gas prices have done nothing but jump .30-.50 over and over and over, as you most stridently yell about incessantly, and have never gone down at all, which we figure is what has happened since you never yell about dropping prices.
So prove it.
You can't because.......you're a bullshitter and that's all that's come out of your mouth/ass.
