Low gas prices are just in time for my 1,400 mile road trip starting tomorrow. Those damn THUGS.

How long will you be traveling?

Better have more cash available towards end of the trip as these prices will not last.

Naperville, IL to Atlanta, GA and back. I'll keep my receipts and post my prices. Plan on filling up south of Louisville and in Chattanooga on the way down. Haven't thought far enough ahead on the way home.
And why would I use cash when I can use a cc that gets me something in return (airline card this time around to rack up a few more miles)?

Well it didn't even last a week. Went out to work tonight and found the proverbial 30 cent jump here once again.

It's only Wednesday so can expect probably another 30 cent jump tomorrow and be well over $3.50 again.

So get gas when the price drops, and wait a week or two to fill up again? Or drive a few miles to one of the many other stations in your city that are routinely proven to be cheaper?
Or swallow the 30 cent difference and pay the extra $3 for a tank, if you can't get your ass in gear and get gas when the price has dropped?

I have been on vacation outside of the U.S. for going on 2 weeks but a quick check shows gas under $3/gallon, which is significantly cheaper than when I left. In other words, prices have continued to drop. You have McOWNED yourself yet again. This is seriously like shooting fish in barrels, but the fish are much smarter than you.
