If you really do care about changing things, then why not address peoples points? Energy Companies threatening to shut down U.S. production again as usual.

U.S. Oil Producers May Drill Themselves Into Oblivion



Goldman Sachs estimated that U.S. shale producers needed $85 a barrel to break even.



So will U.S. oil producers frack their way into bankruptcy?



That’s a real possibility now.

Saudi oil costs them $30/barrel at present.

It would put a crimp in their finances to go below $80 but they can absorb it much better than the cost floor for companies to get oil out of shale or tar.

I have listed several questions for him repeatedly and he refuses to answer. Why? Because he knows he is a fool and wrong, so instead of simply saying "I am wrong" he runs off like a little coward and puts everyone who questions him on an ignore list.

Gas in Lexington went under $3.00 ($2.96) this morning in my area. Oil is now $80.93 per barrel. There is no reason that gas shouldn't be cheaper (or at least fall).

I read what's at all three of the links and watched the additional video and nowhere in any of them does it say that any energy companies are threatening to shut down US production. You're just making stuff up now.

You believe in a conspiracy that the Oil industry seeking higher profits, reports on data that backs higher prices, and holds back data that should mean lower prices. So effectively, they are pushing news that only fits their narrative.

You only promote articles that fit your narrative about how evil the Oil industry is. Any time someone gives data that legitimately has a reason to raise prices, you shut them down as being "Oil Thugs". An example of this, is me saying that the price of gas does not currently capture the effects it has on the environment, and that gas should cost more. In your twisted view, you believe that to mean paying the Oil companies more, even though I was talking about a tax.

So the question is, how are you different from the Oil industry? You both ignore things that don't fit your opinion. You both attack people who you do not agree with. It sure seems like most people don't like either of you.

no US company is going to be shutting down or slowing down production. I live in a county on the Colorado plains that has gone literally fracking crazy. there are wells all over the place. there is big big money being spent in my county by Halliburton, BP and others and they will make a huge profit. and they are paying good money for work. a friend owns a KOA campground and he has been booked solid for 2 years and has a waiting list for oil field workers looking to park their RV. i sure do wish i had some mineral rights.

The US is now producing more oil than ever before and that has given us huge leverage over, Iran, Venezuela, saudi arabia. They base their budgets on 100 buck per barrel and right now they are hurting at the current price of 80 per barrel.

so yea there is a big glut of oil right now and there is no end in sight, oil prices will continue to drop and $2.50 average nationwide in the near future is a real possibility. this is good news and will give our economy a much needed shot in the arm this holiday season because consumers will have more cash from low gas prices to infuse into the local economies.
