2014 Gasoline Price Forecast

Gasoline is at the lowest price of the entire year in Indianapolis and yet I get the feeling Dave is still not happy.

How to do it without destroying the supply infrastructure or preventing the fuel from going to a higher price outside of the US? We saw what price controls did previously.

I remember seeing 19c gas once. It was 1969 or 1970 I believe....there was a gas war in some small town driving through northern Missouri on my way to Florida. Tank was half full...but I had to stop. What ever happened those gas wars?

He can't answer any questions about anything. He can only rant and rave hysterically and act like the gas prices in his area are exactly what's happening in the rest of the country.

He's not too bright.....or he himself is an oil thug viral marketer assigned to desensitize groups to higher prices.

Considering that wholesale gas has not experienced the swings in price like has been seen in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio I would say that the gas wars are still in full effect, only this time around the distributors/gas station owners are making big profits on the rapid increases rather than dropping prices to get more business.

That was low gas as a result of the economy in the shitter.

That's equivalent to $0.44 in 1969. (Average per gallon then was $0.35).

Those dastardly oil thugs have managed to gouge you for roughly a dime per gallon in 45 years.

Enjoy the sub $3 gas while you can. You know the Thugs will crank it back sky high first chance they get.

This is proof the product should never be around $4 or higher and certainly not have 30 and 40 cent overnight jumps.

Cheap gas?! $3 (and under) a gallon in some areas



Halloween is weeks away, but motorists in some parts of the country are getting an early treat at the pump. According to GasBuddy.com, 10 percent of the nation's gas stations are now selling gasoline at less than $3 a gallon.


"I think we could get to 60 percent of stations selling gas below $3 a gallon," later this fall, said Tom Kloza, chief oil analyst at GasBuddy. "There's even a chance that people in California and the Pacific Northwest could see prices close to $3 a gallon later this fall."


Missouri is the one state where the average price at the pump has now dipped to about $2.99 a gallon.

Of course McOwned, we will enjoy the cheaper winter blend gas that has less additives. Late next spring we'll start paying higher prices due to the added cost of required summer blend additives. I can't believe anyone would be too stupid to realize additives cost more money.
