I thought that Ashland KY had a pipeline to the Cattletsburg refinery. I could be wrong though.

Also, the wealth that is created by oil and the pay in the jobs that support oil are far higher than the wealth and pay around other industries. Who makes more per job: cashiers, waiters and retail jobs or people who work for oil companies and the industries serving them?


Oil is far from the only commodity out there, but it is used by every single consumer, whether they own a car or not. What gets products to market and is used in various aspects of manufacturing? That would be transportation services and crude oil. The United States has so far been able to avoid deflation, but what happens to the Producer Price Index and Consumer Price Index when oil falls this far this fast?

We should be asking some real questions here about this rather dramatic drop in the price of oil. Especially in regards to the recent strengthening of the dollar, which has grown stronger as a result of other nations losing/reducing the value within their own currencies against the dollar and due to this collapse in the price of oil. How will all of this affect our debt load and interest rates which have been pegged at zero for so long? How much room does the Fed have to maneuver in this environment, especially if oil continues its march downwards. One thing for sure, to much of a "good thing" may end up being very bad if it gets out of control, economically speaking.

The stations here in Indianapolis went from $1.75 to $2.15 today.

We normally have a 30 cent jump but 40 cents is something new.

Oil went below $50 today so what is the latest excuse from the Oil Thug Fan Bois on here?

I can't help but think there may be some kind of 'shock' to the financial / banking side as a result. Those people are always making big highly leveraged bets on 'sure things' and are never ready for the black swan.

Funny that most prices are still showing well below $2 all over that metro area. Nothing is being reported for regular above $2.15

Did you really just use a projected price to claim prices were $2.15? Claiming that the projected gas price (2.15) is the real price when the average is under $1.90 is exceedingly dishonest. However, I was happy to use your gas buddy link and located 9 stations that are nowhere near $2.15. In fact, they're all under $1.85.

According to your website, there ARE some stations that are at $2.15. They happen to be the highest prices in Indianapolis right now according to your website. Dave, if you're trying to present a truthfull representation of the situation why would you pick the highest price you can find on your website rather than using a mean or median? After all, your own website presents the average price so that consumers can be better informed.

We understand you have serious mental health issues but don't worry, we'll all hang around and continue to correct you so that you will always know the truth.

You might want to look into some sort of anger management classes as well. Becoming hostile when someone disagrees with you is another symptom of a mental disorder. It also undermines your argument.

I went by that BP station have both pics and video showing it is $2.15

Too bad this board even with it's new ownership allows liars like him to post.
