Got gift last week. Will update with pics Christmas eve/day.

Update: Dec 25th 11:15 am.
Nice, gifts like these are unexpected. Thanks a lot SS.

The HP TouchPad case will be put into good use, since I still have 2 unopened TouchPads. 2 Case fans maybe for a new system.
AA and AAA nice for the remotes I have. A DVD with 20 SCI-FI movies I've probably never watched. A Hanayama Cast Puzzle (Enigma)
which I'll figure out to solve. Markers and pens (which I always misplace), a Yoyo, Kitkat/Heath candies. Still unopened red envelope.

Opened my SS gifts yesterday and got a good chuckle out of some of them. THANK YOU SS for the energy gummies, coffee mug, and camp utensils. Having sworn off sugar almost completely I did not eat the energy gummies. Instead I fed them to my 5 year old and 2 year old. Based on the results I can confirm that they absolutely DO work! My kids were running around like wild indians for almost 2 solid hours after consuming just a few of them, after which they promptly crashed for a 3 hour nap.

The camp utensils will be well used this summer, as I intend to start taking my son "real" camping instead of just to our seasonal site in Maine (which is hardly camping in the traditional sense). The emergency poncho was a nice touch as well.

Finally, i wanted to thank you for the truly awesome my little pony puzzle, flowery (ipod touch?) case, and the 128MB ram module. The puzzle took me a few hours to complete, as I was constantly drawn to the alluring eyes of the pony on one of the pieces. Damn thing is distracting! And the 128MB module was particularly well received, as I've had a very hard time lately sourcing RAM to upgrade my IBM PS2. RAM of that excessive capacity and speed is apparently hard to come by these days

Again, THANK YOU SS. All the stuff is/was much appreciated. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Holy shit... just got part 1 of a two part gift. I had to open it now since it said it was perishable. I'll save the other part until Christmas.

Could it be?!?!?!

It is frickin' cold out, but I'll be damned if that will stop me from going outside and grilling up some steak!!!

Whoever my SS is. THANK YOU! You seriously could have stopped here and I'd be super happy. I can't believe there is a second part to this.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Got an awesome Santa. Really happy with all the gifts. Can't wait to try the various teas (and I really needed a tumbler!) and nom on Lara Bars. Tasty flavors.

Nicely wrapped:

Yay, Dunkin Donuts gift card! I  their coffee.

Lol, there really are a bunch of variations for my username. I think every variant is present and active on the forums. Nice Christmas card was inside... must beware of Olds, lol.

Awesome, a tea tumbler. Going to drink from this at work, only have a coffee mug there and it's not great to make tea and coffee in same cup (even if washed well).

Mmm, can't wait to try all the teas. Variety of loose leaf teas in there.

... and lastly, a box of Larabars! I especially love anything with blueberry. Going to make for some delicious snacking over the holidays. I didn't realize Larabar made vegan bars... I may end up buying more in the future.

Thanks, Secret Santa! Really awesome choice of gifts.

I'll opt to reserve this spot for Christmas Eve.

After opening it all today, everything was very nice.

Some classic Eagles cards, featuring some of my past favorites, along with a keychain.

Some cool comic books. Never actually read a comic book before, which some might see odd figuring how many superhero movies I have watched. After seeing Guardians of the Galaxy and simply loving that movie, the Star Lord ones will be especially of great interest.

One Piece Anime Bluray movie, one I don't have either! The other being a book of Moribito. I almost feel they unwittingly hit that perfectly, as I already have the series of that and just simply never got around to getting the book.

In the box was also a bunch of Hershey's Kisses. Which were eaten over the course of the week, another surprising find for how much I like Hershey's chocolate.

I'm not at home but my wife opened the gift thinking it was something for her.

My wife peer-pressured me into opening mine Not one but THREE epic presents!

The first was an awesome set of Walking Dead playing cards. Go fish Corraaallll!

Next up is an amazing graphic novel-style Walking Dead Survivor's Guide:

My wife is a huge Walking Dead fan (as am I) and she quickly absconded with the goods. I hardly even had a chance to flip through it, dangit! Fortunately, there was still something left for me:

Ziploc containers! Now, that may sound like a somewhat weird present to some of you, but I got into DIY make-ahead container meals about a year ago and tend to geek out about them quite a bit:

http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2336038

I'm always on the looking out for cool new containers and these are the BOMB! I've never seen these ones before - for starters, they have a single press-down button in the middle to lock them into place easily, which has been a problem with my other sets of plastic storageware. My old SmartSpin containers had a hard time locking down, these are so much easier! Plus they're super-thin plastic, but are dishwasher/microwave/freezer-safe, so they don't take up huge amounts of room in storage (or in my lunchbox) like Tupperware or Pyrex does. I put the snack-sized containers to good use immediately:

They're a perfect fit for my paleo cookies! Bonus recipe link:

Also got some awesome recipes that I'm going to try out next week over the holiday break. A+ Secret Santa, thank you!!
