Anyone here played/recommend Shadowrun: Dragonfall? It's $6 right now.

Heard really good things about it, and got it this sale, but like most games, haven't played it yet. From the reviews I'd say if it looks like your kind of game, grab it.

Gotta say the Thief reboot is awful, just awful.

From the player reviews, they're not good - Styx is the one I got for stealth.

Craig, how's The Long Dark? Worth $10?

The player reviews are very good - hard to find a single one that doesn't say 'one of the best games for your money you'll get now'

But I'd say it has to be the type of game you want: it's pure survival play, day to day, avoiding freezing, starving, falling in ice, disease, wolves, and such.

The game doesn't have a 'win' yet, they say a story mode is coming, now it's just 'try for a longer score'.

The graphics look beautiful to me, but are described by most as 'not as good as some other games but not bad'. I got it, to play later when the story mode is there.

Is there a way to categorize my games by "purchase date" ?

I can't for the life of me figure out a way to do it (maybe there's just no way to do that though).

Dishonored now $5 on Steam. Tomb Raider a steal at $4 if you still haven't played it. I 100% it, thought it was the best in the series, ever.

I played the shadowrun reboot when it was released. decent campaign, but the gameplay overall felt very thin at the time--classes not all that unique, the hacking, or whatever it is called, was very useless as compared to the old versions of shadowrun.

anyway, I enjoyed it enough, mostly memories of the SNES Shadowrun; but too short, with skill progression that doesn't really seem to do anything. Again--all based on vanilla.

I've heard great hings about dragonfall DC, though. I'm tempted to pick it up.

I've read many posts here saying that the Tomb Raider DC is very much pointless--I think the best part is one extra map, that doesn't really offer anything special?

but yeah--$4 for that game is criminal. I finally started playing it last week (bought it last x-mas sale; vanilla), and it is very good.

I thought the market lock is only if you changed credit card or add a new card (or paypal, whatever is funding your account)? Registering new device shouldn't get you locked.

OMG Shovel Knight is some oldschool fun!! Highly recommend it. It's not OVERLY difficult, but it has its moments.

In the event you are locked out, don't forget you can convert those cards into jems. I don't know much about jems, but I believe you can convert them into booster packs for more cards later on (which you could then sell).

Bought fallout new vegas ultimate for $6.99. Figure it's worth a second play through with the PC updates (xbox 360 years ago).
