gog.com had them 50% off, Baldur's Gate II EE was $12.49.

I think BG I EE was $9.99.

Can you pick the older versions of the game to install?
Cuz recent patch made BG I unplayable even though it had been working fine before. Thats one reason I dont like Steam. You get the version they want you to have.

On the flipside, they still havent updated Act of War and that patch came out for the disc version like 8 years ago.

No, it's also one version, but you can keep an earlier version you downloaded.

this was one of the games i was hoping would be dirt cheap during this sale. like everyone else in the thread... not sure why i still buy all these games as i usually only have an hour here and there to play... so i never want to get into a game with a storyline. so i just end up playing things like MTG, hearthstone, sc2, etc. for a couple hours and call it a night.

Unfortunately you were hoping in vain. ME3 is not available on Steam.

I did it again.

Several times, I was about to buy a game, but checked other places I have bought games like gog.com, and found I already owned it, and avoided a duplicate purchase.

But I'd seen 'Mousecraft', hey don't remember that one, looks good, bought it.

Tonight I was on gog.com and noticed it's already in my library. Sigh.

Sounds like a good idea for an mobile/web app. Maybe there is one already?

A single sign on and it displays all the games you own on Steam, Origin, GOG, Green Man, Amazon, etc.

Plus shopping tools like notices when games on your wish list are on sale.....

I'd probably buy something like that.

The only thing I bought (games) during the Christmas holidays is Scribblenauts (for my daughter).
The rest were either too much, too much meh, or I already had them in my library......TF2 is still my default go to.

Yes. I couldn't find it on the home page but had to search: http://www.greenmangaming.com/search/?q=mass+effect+3

There is a 22% of code on the home page. Apply that at check out and $4.99 becomes $3.90.

yeah, it was still up and I picked it up last night. Thanks!

Played maybe 2? hours...man, each iteration of ME seems to take a step backwards into streamlined rail-driven hand-holding.

Granted, I'm OK with the more action-driven aspects of these games, I like their style, but it seems that their nods towards gearing, skills, and story options are just so dumbed down that I'm not sure why the bothered with it this long. The maps no longer exist. First part of citadel: take elevator to section of citadel that is now one room, instead of what used to be fully explorable in ME1. look at map: it numbers each area, shows you where someone is standing that you could talk to to. ...lol

The opening options for game style: action, RPG, story (described as: no challenges, just watch shit happen, basically)...wtf.

I'll still play it through, I guess $3.90, woo! but it already feels like it is the weakest of all of them.

Yup. I had heard similar comments in the past. And this is why I went cheap with this game. Honestly, if Bioware had stayed true to the series and built a better ME1 (instead of the dumbed down continuation of the story) I would have been willing to spend a lot more money. But I unfortunately the market demands dumbed down games....and Bioware is just feeding the market.

Gonna start it this weekend. I'm sure I'll get my $3.90 worth of entertainment....

No doubt about that. It may not be the best game ever made, but it's definitely entertaining, especially for $4. Also, the silly rails stuff is present throughout to some extent, but not nearly as much as in the first couple of scenes. The multiplayer was really fun too iirc.
