lol +1When you start gaming hardcore those things tend to die or leave on their own, so dont worry about it.
Agreed. Thus I bought Shadow Warrior at full price even knowing it would be a fraction of that before I play it.Actually there's a reason not to do that sometimes. Games count on different price points including some higher ones. If they don't sell games at the higher price point it'll greatly hurt their revenue which will cut the budget for quality, features, even the game not getting made. And so buyers should consider buying at a higher price point for games they like more and feel it's 'worth it' if they want to support the game.
I bought Fallout 3 GOTY - for five bucks it's worth having it on Steam even though I already own it.Fallout 3 at $5 I haven't finished new Vegas yet maybe I'll get it tomorrow
Whoah, I just noticed in that link that upgraded "Redux" versions of Metro 2033 and Metro LL are coming out this summer??

Darn! Gone Home was briefly up for community vote at 88% off, or $2.40 (I have the screenshot!) But I see Steam has corrected it and put it back at 85% off, or $3.00.
Is gone home a point and click? Or more like a horror game?
"Game"It's a short exploration/adventure game with heavy emphasis on telling a deep and emotional story. Kind of like Dear Esther, but Gone Home is a bit more nuanced and interesting IMO. For $20 bucks I normally wouldn't recommend it, but it's a great game for $10 or less. You can pretty much play through it in one sitting.
Dang, I was hoping Child of Light would go on a deeper discount. Although to be fair I guess it's a pretty new game.
I think the ps4 has a demo for child of light. I may check it out and see what its about.
Still no love for Dishonored.
A bunch of other games have been on daily deal/flash deal multiple times over.
Dishonored...everything in this game is really cool...but I can't get to finish it.
I always restart fresh since I don't play that often and everytime I stop at the first village/hideout (about 2 hours playtime?!!? maybe a bit more).
I really have to get this done, I love the gameplay, the look, the story...but there's something I can't put my finger on that make me stop out of boredom...
Has anyone played the Banner Saga? Seen it a few months ago but it was never on sale. 50% seems ok but not sure if I'd jump on it yet, unless it was super fun.
No I believe that the second part of Burial At Sea was the end of the wind down as the studio closed it's doors. It is certainly the end of any story components.Bioshock Infinite + Season Pass is now the cheapest it's been at $15, www.steamgamesales.com/GInth/bioshock-infinite-season-pass-bundle. I'm thinking of finally picking it up as I can't see it dropping below $12.50 for a year or two. Are they expected to release any additional DLC that might be included in a 'complete' pack?
I'm seriously shocked it's on sale at all. That's very unlike Ubisoft. But it's very good news for anyone that wants to pick up the game.Dang, I was hoping Child of Light would go on a deeper discount. Although to be fair I guess it's a pretty new game.
I only care in as much as it's disingenuous on Valve's part to run a contest where the results were predetermined by them. It's better to repair it and admit you screwed up. But that would require Valve to communicate.I don't understand why anyone cares about the Summer Adventure game. Even with 60 people "winning" now per day, you still have an extremely small chance of actually getting anything. At best, probably something like 60 out of 150,000 per day.
I'm aware of how it works. And looking at token prices I'm also aware that anyone who is serious enough to drop real money on this is currently dog piling on the red team, whose tokens are worth about 6x at much as the others. You don't really know how the "adventure" works do you?
But the teams are picked randomly. You hit a button to join the contest and your color is chosen for you. Even if your right and the redit stuff isn't helping, then its happening naturally as one team takes a lead the other teams hold out on making badges till the next day. Either way one team is creating all the badges they can one day and the rest not. That means less transactions on the market place, which means less money for Valve. That's why they changed the rules, they want even if the winner is established early that the rest of the teams don't give up.
