25% is all you are going to see at this time, it's too new (04/2014). I will say I played the demo four times and really like it. If you like JRPG's, then you will like this game. Off to buy it!!
I just got done with my second playthrough on PS4. This is not my typical kind of game, but I couldn't put it down. Cute little story, some fairly simple fight mechanics that were fun to learn (elemental/physical/magical vulnerabilities), and a decent skill tree. Got my moneys worth at $15.Yeah, I might buy it anyway, looks like a great game with a great artstyle. There hasn't been much else interesting to me that I don't already own.
Yep Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons
I usually don't like buying games that are only 2-3 hours long (as mentioned before I simply watched a Let's Play of Gone Home), but Brothers looks pretty good. It at least looks more like a real game than Gone Home, so I might pick it up for $3.
Edited to add: Just watched the first minute of TotalBiscuit's WTF is Brothers (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lz3EmqraAxc) and he said it was one of the most memorable gaming experiences in the last 25 years. That's pretty high praise! I stopped watching as soon as he said the 25 years comment and bought the game.
So your suggesting that the reason that a team gained such a big lead was because a majority of people were buying $10 tokens to become an insignificant member of the winning team. Keep in mind that Valve isn't selling those tokens, they are random awards for finishing a badge.I'm seriously shocked it's on sale at all. That's very unlike Ubisoft. But it's very good news for anyone that wants to pick up the game.
I only care in as much as it's disingenuous on Valve's part to run a contest where the results were predetermined by them. It's better to repair it and admit you screwed up. But that would require Valve to communicate.
I'm aware of how it works. And looking at token prices I'm also aware that anyone who is serious enough to drop real money on this is currently dog piling on the red team, whose tokens are worth about 6x at much as the others.
There are too many Steam users for the players to effectively collude. When the outcome is predetermined by Valve, the winners rotated. When the outcome is not predetermined, the same team is winning every day because that's where all the winners go (using the token they purchased). This is why Reddit can't control the outcome, and why "holding out" on making badges doesn't work.
And you're right, Valve did change the rules to improve the game and to make sure people kept buying cards. Previously the winning team took it all, now the loser teams at least get a lesser prize so that the game is not a complete failure and is still semi-competitive.
Essentially, yes. People who are crazy enough to throw down real money on this want to be on the winning team, so they purchased tokens to make it so.So your suggesting that the reason that a team gained such a big lead was because a majority of people were buying $10 tokens to become an insignificant member of the winning team. Because Valve was rigging it. That order is certainly the hardest point to prove from my perspective, but if you're going to go through the trouble of rigging it, why not use someone else's schedule as plausible deniability? Also, keep in mind that's it's not just who won, but who lost. The fact that all 4 other teams were equal, and that there wasn't a team well at the bottom suffering from player flight and demoralization speaks loudly that something wasn't right. Today's results are far more realistic in that respect. So if the Steam community is to large to be impacted by redit. How do you propose that the winners have been the exact same as the outline they established at the start of the Sale?
What type of game is Dragon age?
Fantasy RPG; you control a 3-person party (though you choose them party makeup from more characters). It's essentially the fantasy version of Mass Effect. It's very good if you like the genre. Wait for a daily or flash sale to buy though, it's not on full sale right now. It has been 75% off already in this sale; hopefully it will come around again. DAO:Ultimate for $7.50 is an absolute steal.
EDIT: Forgot it was up for vote, so it may be about to go back down.
How is kerbal: space program going?
Thinking of finally grabbing it as I have seen some videos awhile ago and it looked like fun but it seems the devs have been killing it a bit by some reviews.

Yup it will be going back down tomorrow I suppose. Going to check out some YouTube vids.
I am not even that big into the genre or gameplay type and I still loved the game. I bought it at full price based on great reviews, and they were completely justified. 150+ hours and I still wanted to play (And this is only a single player campaign game, and that was only 1 play through!!!).
It's a challenging game with a steep initial learning curve but very rewarding once you get through the first few sections.
It may be Bioware's finest game ever.
I'm going to check out some gameplay videos. I didn't really like mass effect too much but this looked interesting.
