Picked up The Fall for $5. This game is really good. Definitely got Another World vibe to it with an interesting story.

Man, this is so wretched, i am going to buy a lot of crap i barely play..they already got me for Don't starve...and i'm looking at Civ 5 complete edition for 25 bucks...farcry 3 blood dragon...walking dead...!

I picked up State of Decay at GMG last week and have really enjoyed it. What makes that odd is that I'm not really all that into zombie games or GTA like games, but somehow this one is keeping my attention. You aren't resigned to one character but many different as you gain peoples trust and make friends. If you die while playing them (or they die for other reasons) you lose them. I didn't know this at first so when it first happened I got pissed (because I died in a rather unexpected way) and lost my main 2 chars so I started over

I would highly recommend it at $5

Btw did you notice that voting has the "Subject to availability. Restrictions apply." under it? A lot of people did not get cards from various forums. I did not get a card today. Some seem to think its because if you vote late they run out for that particular vote. Don't remember that last year.. maybe its to stop people for just ninja voting for the cards.

I also don't get the whole "team assign" thing. Purple team is always on top since they started by a lot of people.

I realize its only day 3 on the Summer Sale, but I really hope it picks up. Everything up so far on Flash sales I've either already owned or has been junk. By Day 3 of GOG's Summer sale, I'd already bought a dozen games.

Well they offer different types of games so not really something to compare. Maybe you buy to much games throughout the year? I've bought 5 already I never played. heh

Just picked up Witcher 2... heard it was better than the first so skipping the first one.

Question on the BioShock bundle though... I already own the first one, if I buy the bundle of 1, 2 and 3, I just lose the first one from the pack right?

What if I buy it on another account as a gift... can I pass out all 3 individually or is it still a pack? Anyone know?

I don't know on the sending the pack to someone else, but yes you do lose titles that you already have when buying the pack unless otherwise noted.

I bought BioShock Triple Pack during winter sale and it was listed as one item on the order confirmation e-mail, so I do not think that you could split it into individual games.

I maintain that Witcher 1 is worth picking up and playing through; for the 2 bucks it usually goes for now, its worth every penny.

Not sure about the packs for BioShock though. Steam can be kooky with how it handles extra licenses.

DmC seems fun but I can't get past the camera issues. It just refuses to stay centered. You can't see anything during a fight.

They've had software on sale before, so you never know.

It probably would have been smart to wait till the next round of voting ended, because papers please could be 70% off in ~90 minutes (and I hope it is)

Is there a restriction on what you can add to your wishlist?

I tried to add the Skyrim Legendary edition and BL2 GOTY edition but both don't seem to have a wishlist button.

The normal editions of the game I can add though.

What's everyone think about Prison Architect for $10.19? I know it's early access (for like two years now)....

I have 140 hours into, and recommend it to everyone that loves building.

It is kind of easy once you figure out the different mechanics; rarely will you have riots or fires if you plan your prison right, but then again, you can set up your prison to riot when you have 200 prisoners if you wanted to.

It's been updated almost every month since I bought it, so the devs are truly working on it. TBH, I thought it was a finished and polished game when I bought it like five or six builds ago. Some bugs and annoying things, but overall one of the better games out there.

RAGE is the last one I would recommend. It's a very dull, iterative, generic post-apocalyptic open-world shooter, that plays like Fallout:NV and Borderlands had a bastard child. (If you're really into that sort of thing though, then I guess it's worth checking out).

I finally finished RAGE yesterday after getting it on a deal two summers ago. It's little more than a tech demo of Doom 4's engine. Not a bad shooter...not great either. The story had potential but turned out grossly unsatisfying, especially the ending. No surprises, the reviews back at release said the same thing.

Am I the only one who feels like Steam sales are crap once you've been through a few years of Summer & Winter sales ? It's always the same stuff and everything you're interested in you've already gotten in past sales.

This never made sense to me. Except for early access, I'm hard-pressed to think of a game that NEVER went on sale. Complaining about Steam sales sucking seems to be projecting poor/limited taste in games...or bad budgeting, of time if not money.

There's plenty I'd still want to buy but my backlog is already pretty large...it forces me to finish what I have and likely get the same game for less down the road.
