wow, so it only happens w/ SLI? crazy sound too
yes, its only when sli is enabled. the sound is due to the video being shot in 120fps.

I have no problems with SLI on mine, this is with 3 Titans.
can you please test your monitor with dual sli and see if you notice the bottom portion flicker? try a few different games as well. I would like to know if mine had a shoddy controller or if its an sli issue. thank you

The included cable should be adequate.
I posted mine to Craigslist (at a loss). Let's see what happens.
Works fine set for 2+1 card as dedicated PhysX controller (that's the only way I could set it, I couldn't turn off the 3rd card).
what cables are you using?
i just helped a friend troubleshoot his computer over the weekend. long story short (after multiple hw swaps), turned out the DisplayPort cable was faulty/caused shorts. WTF!!!
So, it looks like this monitor does not use MST to achieve 60Hz at 4K after all.
Someone at Nvidia confirmed it:

Hopefully this goes for the 31" IPS Samsung is coming out later with as well.
you posted your monitor to craigslist? or the cable?
I tried three different display port cables. all of which were high quality but this is always a possibility.
A few newbie questions:
1. When are going to, realistically, see the first DP 1.3 displays?
2. Ditto for HDMI 2.0?
3. Will either DP 1.3 or HDMI 2.0 support a 100+ Hz 4K display, bandwidth wise?
4. Will you need to upgrade anything client-side(such as mobo) to support either DP 1.3 or HDMI 2.0?
1. 2015 probably
2. This year, Eizo is releasing some 4K displays that will have HDMI 2.0. However, since they cater to the pro market, expect a very high price tag. I don't know of any consumer focused monitors coming that are set to have HDMI 2.0. There are TV sets with HDMI 2.0 out now, so certainly nothing is preventing manufactures from adding it.
3. DP 1.3 will, not sure about HDMI 2.0
4. Video card will need to be updated, and apparently the next wave of GPUs aren't coming until Q4/early 2015. No word on if they'll have HDMI 2.0 or DP 1.3.
Well, in the process of waiting I missed NCIX's insanely low price of $529. Now if I want to buy it again I'll have to pay $699.
I was going to order a 2nd one @ the lower price but if I couldn't sell my current one I'd be stuck with it.
I suppose they'll hit $599 again, but I don't think I'll wait. If I manage to unload my current one I'll just buy a new one for the lowest price I can find one and suck it up. 4k is an amazing experience, I just can't go back to anything less at this point.
I didn't know you were still in the market for one, newegg and amazon actually hit $599 for 1 day earlier this week!
Well, I finally sold it (only taking a $154 loss ). Now I have to decide whether I want to buy it again or wait for another display to come out (who am I kidding, I'll probably just buy it again for $599).
