I kind of doubt it, considering the iPad mini is still outselling the full-sized version. Most likely it's a retina Macbook Air.
Guess you probably grew up with spiral bound notebooks. Me? Loose leaf notebook paper and folders with paper holding tabs. I am used to having a pen separate from the medium at hand and in near proximity (bag, pen pockets, pen clips)
Once you get past the stone age, people like things that are convenient and don't require them to hack their own solutions.
The one thing I really dislike about the new samsung tablet is the lack of a kickstand (or similar). The other thing is I don't like the backing on the pro note; still i wanted a 12-13 inch tablet so maybe one of these will do if the price is reasoanble. Kind of wish the non-lte version had the snapdragon.
The new Samsung Pro tablets look ultra premium and look like they have no lag at all.
The displays are also all 1600p and look super bright. They are based on LCD technology.

I don't think many people consider fake leather "ultra premium"

Yeah, though it kills me that they haven't made one for the 10.1 yet.The Logitech Pro case for the new Note Pro is pretty damn nice.
Those Logitech folio cases are pretty cool. But between what the cost of the tablet and the $130 case, I suspect this might cross the upper threshold of what I consider an Android device to be worth. If they charge $600 for the tablet, I don't think I want to sink $730 total into an Android netbook.

I agree, a kick stand would have been pretty nice to have on a huge 12.2 inch tablet.
I wouldn't use the words "ultra premium" either, let's not go crazy, it's still a plastic tablet. But it does look really good and I think that leather looking plastic texture is going to be a huge improvement over past smooth super glossy (and slippery) plastic tablets. Not sure what Samsung's aversion to metals are, real metal trim might have been nice. But as long as it feels sturdy and the back has grip, that is all that really matters to me.
I'm skeptical that it's going to be lag free. But we'll see.
Hands-on with the Samsung's Galaxy Note Pro 12.2:

I have no idea what I'd use it for, but I want one :awe:
