What retarded, half-blind nitwit decided that we needed rear fenders that look like a Camaro? What idiot decided to replicate some of the WORST parts of the 'new' muscle cars by cramming the cabin down, the fenders and trunk up, and rewarding us with a rear window that obscurs more than it shows?

What dipshit decided to fashion a steering wheel that looks JUST like the one in my 1986 Trans-AM?

What fool created that overly-busy disaster of a rear end?

What fools gathering of a soccer mom European focus group took this beautiful machine:

And turned it into this giant steaming pile of excrement?

I don't know, I like it quite a bit, although it does look pretty derivative. Apparently "European" is just making an single extended side glass look.

Also by going more rakish with the slope of the roof, It looks like they completely killed backseat headroom. Yes, I get backseats were small and kinda pointless already, but they made them totally pointless now. I feel like they should have rounded it more like on the current Mustang, or else extended it further back so there's less deck but gives it more of the old fastback style of look.

Hmm, I don't know, that little view of the inside rear window doesn't look like there's that much difference.

I notice it looks like they brought back that little kink on the side mirror (where the line from the hood extends to the front of the side mirror post, and then after that it drops down about an inch or two on the side glass) that the mid-late 90s and early 2000s Mustangs had.

Looks a lot like a low end Aston Martin with different lights. I'd have loved to see all the internal designs they considered.

I feel like if they're straying away from the iconic styling, they should just make a smaller 2 seater roadster and put the turbo 4 in it or a turbo v6 in it. The mustang been basically the same car reskinned and upgraded for decades, maybe it's time to introduce some new options.

Not really sure what to think about it. But im leaning towards it looks like crap. Especially the shot where it looks like a camaro. I prefer the older style better.

I like it. I really like the retro exterior the last gen had, but it's getting old.
This looks modern and aggressive without looking like macho boy racer Michael Bay Camaro silly.

If I use my hand to cover up everything from the side mirror back, I like the car.

If I use my hand to cover up everything from the side mirror forward, it reminds me of a dozen other cars like the Grand Prix, Camaro, Dodge Charger etc etc etc.

Essentially I think they had one person design the front, and then a retard with a spoon carved out the back.

I have a vested interest - I work for Ford. An anniversary this big should have an incredible car, like the Corvette Stingray. Ford missed the mark badly.

It seems kinda vague. Especially the rear. Meaning, that it sorta looks like a Mustang, but the styling is kinda washed out.

Probably best to see in person and wait awhile before making final judgement.

I don't like that at all. I have a 2012, which I love, but that's probably because I'm a old fart and the retro look appeals to me.
