The trunk sucks. What's with this narrow opening?
What if you want to drop the rear seat and put a bicycle or Ikea furniture in the back?
Mazda6:
Is it something about Camry rear suspension that is blocking the opening with struts?
Also, on design front, what's with the fake side window on the rear pillar?
2006 was the pinnacle of their design. It went downhill from there.

So you are saying don't get a Camry if you occasionally need to carry Ikea furniture or a bicycle in the back, as many people do. That's what I am saying too. But there is no need to get a truck, many cars of Camry's size can carry things like that just fine with the seats folded.Get a truck. The Camry is not made to haul furniture or bikes.
fixed for you1996 was the pinnacle of their design. It went downhill from there.
id refuse to buy any sedan that doesnt have fold down seats for this reasonSo you are saying don't get a Camry if you occasionally need to carry Ikea furniture or a bicycle in the back, as many people do. That's what I wanted to ask too.
What the hell is that little triangle of black and chrome for? Looks ridiculous.

Family's 1996 is still chugging along. id also say its better than alot of the shitboxes that i rented in recent years (cobalt, G6, aveo, etc)

I'd say 1996 was pinnacle of design for Camry, not 2006.
