What really sucks right now is that OSU can keep kicking ass, but as of now, it does not control it's own destiny. Obviously OSU has to win out, but if PSU wins out, OSU doesn't go to the conference championship. And I just don't see yet how the CFB committee tackles that issue. OSU will rightfully move into the top 4 this week, and they shouldn't be jumped by a two-loss team, but when it comes time for the playoff, how they do rightfully skip over a conference champion (one with a championship game), especially from the Big 10 which is very strong this year, and instead place OSU in there who didn't even clinch the division? These damn tie-breakers need to look past just the one-on-one results within the division and factor in the total schedule, because a 2-loss PSU should never clinch the division over a 1-loss OSU, even if they were the ones to give OSU that loss. I'm just a little bitter about that.
But we'll have to see how these last two weeks play out. Anything remains possible, that's for sure. No guarantees for OSU to win out to begin with, but PSU has a lighter schedule for sure. Hopefully MSU looks competent when they play PSU.
