lol

5:30 and I haven't seen single game. That's what the ring of power does to a man.

I am having a beer though.

Look like Bama vs. LSU will be a defense struggle low scoring game. No score so far (2nd QT with 5 minutes left) with each team missed one FG each.

That was a brutal slugfest.

On the plus side, now that we're into playoff ranking season, all the top teams decided to go to triple digit or bust mode with an average margin of victory around 50.

Well, the defense played well for LSU for 3 QTs but the offense was the same ole pathetic offense again. Oh well, back to the cheapo bowl again.

Michigan really struggling against Iowa.

Just saw the Washington score scroll by, looks like Stanford managing to keep them at a distance.

Wow, could have 3 of top 4 lose this week.

Turning into a brutal day. Huskies went down, A&M doing dreadful the the fourth and let the rebels take the lead.

Michigan regained lead though, and with time getting short seem to be handling run the clock mode ok....or they were till they throw an INT as I'm writing this, whoops.

Alabama stands above the rest.. as usual and they've played the toughest schedule.

What do you think CFP rankings will be now?

Holy Crap on a cracker!! Are Northern Saskatchewan Barbers College and Guam JuCo in the playoff picture now?

It'll be interesting to see if students at Clemson, Michigan and Washington need to have a Play-Doh cry-in on Monday.

Louisville should be above Clemson, but may not be. Because they will take into account that they lost to Clemson. I guess we'll see.

I for one am very happy that Clemson finally got what they deserved, a loss. Refs gave them the game against FSU, NC State and Louisville. Did Clemson get hosed on some terrible calls this game? Yep, sure did. They had it coming and I don't feel bad for them at all. So many upsets this week, a team that was #10 could be in the playoff picture now.Great week in college football. Really shows how much better Bama is than anyone else too.

What really sucks right now is that OSU can keep kicking ass, but as of now, it does not control it's own destiny. Obviously OSU has to win out, but if PSU wins out, OSU doesn't go to the conference championship. And I just don't see yet how the CFB committee tackles that issue. OSU will rightfully move into the top 4 this week, and they shouldn't be jumped by a two-loss team, but when it comes time for the playoff, how they do rightfully skip over a conference champion (one with a championship game), especially from the Big 10 which is very strong this year, and instead place OSU in there who didn't even clinch the division? These damn tie-breakers need to look past just the one-on-one results within the division and factor in the total schedule, because a 2-loss PSU should never clinch the division over a 1-loss OSU, even if they were the ones to give OSU that loss. I'm just a little bitter about that.

But we'll have to see how these last two weeks play out. Anything remains possible, that's for sure. No guarantees for OSU to win out to begin with, but PSU has a lighter schedule for sure. Hopefully MSU looks competent when they play PSU.

Don't think there's anyway Florida wins next week. yet again they had several leave the game and not return from injury, at least one of which already ruled out rest of the year. way too many 2nd and 3rd string starters now.

Agree on Clemson. They almost lost at home a couple times, anyway. They were a botched FG from losing to my crappy NCSU team (Granted--thsoe guys do field a solid def squad).

Clemson just doesn't belong in that group of teams.

I don't like Michigan at all, but I like Harbaugh and watching him dominate the field wherever he goes is really quite entertaining. Michigan is a great team and I'd be surprised to see them end-up outside of the top 4. I guess WU going down as well really keeps them in the picture.

OSU vs Michigan should be awesome.

I'm a PSU guy, through and through, and one that believes that our Pitt loss should obviously never have happened and we should be a 1 loss team. That said, even as a 1 loss team, it's not a better team than OSU. I love seeing PSU significantly out perform estimates, but I'd like to see the conference perform at its best as well, and that won't be the case with PSU over OSU despite the conference results. Tricky system is tricky.

Indeed. Losses happen as they happen though, bad performance days from the best of teams give others the chance to capitalize, and that's what happened with OSU v PSU. Playing in Happy Valley is definitely no joke though, and I'm glad PSU has beat expectations because they've proven that loss wasn't to some basic unranked team, but to a team that deserved to be ranked. They stepped up.

I of course agree that OSU is overall a better team, even if PSU beat Pitt, but... conference numbers are going to be the deciding factor. It's going to be messy that's for sure.

Pac12 cannibalizing itself per usual.

Reminds me of the time unranked WA beat ranked SC and killed their championship hopes.

Eastern Michigan got to 6-6!

Extremely pissed about Michigan though

Even worse is that there are reports that Speight is done for season.
