This is a prime example of why I don't really like College Football that much, because the majority of games are just flat out sloppy and minimal defense. Sure it's entertaining, but not something I can get serious about.
That said, the highlights were fun to watch for sure.
same. I completely switched preferences about 8 years ago when, after going back to college games, I noticed how much slower and incompetent NCAA defenses are compared to every NFL team. I think some teams are still great and the game can be fun, but there is a real dilution in talent and capability. There was a time when I would complain about the NFL because no one ever used the option, because it is so cool and interesting! ...but I realized the reason it just doesn't work in the NFL is because success in the option depends entirely on fat and slow DEs and LBs that simply can't keep up with the QB/HB run and cut on a good option team. Every one of those plays would get demolished for a loss against any NFL team. It's hilarious.
