While watching the LSU game, ESPN just put up a scroll that Houston coach about to become the LSU coach.
I really hope Tom Herman doesn't go to LSU. They'd be getting a helluva coach, but I don't want an SEC team getting a coach that made OSU so amazing. OSU has been missing him dearly. Meyer is an amazing coach, but Herman was one of the best Offensive Coordinators in the game. Time has proven that filling Herman's shoes has been nearly an impossible task.
I had a strong suspicion that Herman would only serve as Houston's head coach for two years, maybe three at most, before another program scooped him up. At first, I figured he'd have a couple years, building up Houston, but damn, a few weeks into this season, he demonstrated his skills and then some. I expected Houston to become a big player in a few years, but to see them perform so well in his second season, before Herman had any impact on recruiting? Shit, just imagine what he could do once he had a team that he recruited. I mean they did awesome last season, no doubt, but they took on some big wins this season.
