Just had a thought - I think a good chunk of these are going to be purchased by people who actually CAN'T afford it but will stretch well beyond their means to have the biggest, baddest toy on the block...err... county. It's the guys that will be willing to have a $1100 car payment and a crappy little apartment.
The next portion will be picked up by the guys that can easily afford it and want it for the same reason. They'll keep it in the garage and pull it out once in a while to show it off to friends or for events, then put it back after having it detailed.
Very few of the buyers will pick one up with the intent to do any serious drag racing with it. I'd bet about 5%, based on my experience in the motorcycle industry and the bike equivalents of this car (H2R, Y2K, Superleggera, etc). These kinds of 'hyper' vehicles don't appeal to the mass market - they're niche and priced accordingly.
