@zzuupp,
see the link in message #120; they send only SixTrack tasks currently.

@crashtech,
one of the most annoying properties of SixTrack is the extremely wide variation and non-predictable nature of the run times, and this is indeed independent of host architecture.

Jeeper's report on day 12 was written very early today but translated at the usual time. Today's topics: Conclusion of Cross Country at Einstein (where [H]ard|OCP brought their well-deserved Silver medal home), analysis of Javelin Throw after the teams had their 4th attempt, and overall standings (where we are just barely clinging to 3rd).

ATLAS and perhaps other subprojects can be had again, but apparently only with few tasks in progress per host. This is a nuisance, because the LHC servers currently have a habit to be "down for maintenance" at the most inconvenient times.

Experimental particle physics is hit and miss. And so are credits at LHC@Home. A 150 W BDW-EP is cranking out more than double as many ATLAS tasks than a 90 W KBL-S. (The Xeon runs double the number of concurrent tasks, at slightly lower average CPU time and run time per task.) In return, the Xeon is penalized with a lower application FLOPS estimation and thus quite a bit lower credits per task.

Compared to what?
If comparing to other projects, then that's not really relevant, unless you mean within LHC?

unfortately, all those problems with their [WCG's] stats also mean that we'll have to wait for the final stats until a few hours after the end of the Marathon
So, keep running WCG Zika for a few hours after the supposed end of the race!

I might need to concentrate on WCG. LHC is proving a difficult one with unruly VMs or low-paying Sixtrack.

A long time friend of the TeAm is joining us for LHC. The hardware coming online is impressive in core count and memory. My personal output in LHC is....disappointing to say the least. I always suck at the 'hard' ones.
OK< who, you are killing me here !

Only results reported before the announced end of the Pentathlon at 00:00 UTC count. While the Pentathlon site needs to wait for an unkown duration to receive the final stats, these final stats will be the ones from 00:00 UTC.

I sure hope nobody missed to check out the day 13 report as well. It was about Pentathletes needing the right nutrition.

I am afraid I am not certain of his meaning in that one...the teams are absorbing all the tasks they can get, but the points to show for it are very small? Or is he alluding to bunkering, with all the tasks going in, but nothing coming out?

He wrote the report when LHC@Home's validator still waded through a huge backlog, and almost nobody got anything credited.

As a nod to Formula Boinc, the Pentathlon admins put this inside joke up at their site at 00:00 UTC:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method DateTime::modifiy() in /var/www/boinc_pentathlon/start.php:46 Stack trace: #0 {main} thrown in /var/www/boinc_pentathlon/start.php on line 46

Let's see what the final stats update after WCG's database cleanup brings.

To put our WCG marathon performance into perspective, here are results from the last two WCG Birthday Challenges:
2017: TC 147 M, TAAT 73 M (1 : 0.50)
2018: TC 214 M, TAAT 110 M (1 : 0.51)
