2019 Masters, go Tiger!.

I kinda miss the old Masters threads that we used to have here. Spidey07 would pretty much do a play by play with us.

We used to have pretty lively Kentucky Derby threads as well. Maybe we should bring that tradition back!

I don't really like watching golf but The Masters is different. I make sure to clear my weekend every year, a lot of drama and nothing like the back 9 at Augusta. Can't really afford tournament day badges but thinking about purchasing some practice round badges next year.

I was there in '06 for a practice round, be aware hotels are VERY expensive during the Masters, we paid $250/night for a Day's Inn. That being said, you cannot imagine the meticulous landscaping, it's so perfect it almost look fake!. On practice rounds cameras and phones are allowed, on tournament days both are 100% banned. I don't mean as in don't use a cell, don't even BRING one, if you are seen with one your gone for good and no refunds. Kinda nice IMHO!.

Well for sure he's made some horrible decisions, but considering his wealth he went through what it took so his kids got a chance to see him actually win. He could have forgone all the physical rehab from 4 back surgeries and just laid back or become an announcer, he took the tough route plus he is really good for the game, love him or hate him.

the announcer said something about 4 back surgeries then winning the Masters.

I doubt it, a lot of really tough competition these days.
