Creating this to just discuss Fantasy Football for the 2019-20 season...

Who had Lamar Jackson and Sammy Watkins on their bench?

I had Melvin Gordon's replacement on my bench in one of my leagues and in another one of my PPR leagues, I am down by 24 but have Dree Brees tonight and my opponent has Tyrell Wiliiams so I have a chance but I guess I shouldn't hold my breath...

I started Hill over Watkins so that sucked. At least that was in the free league. In the paid league I am almost certainly going to score the highest points of this week which generates a payout

how many leagues are you in?

I told myself I would cut down the 4 leagues I have been in for the past 5 years but that didn't happen...really sucks when you have a player you need to do well in league but your opponent has him in another league...#First world problems...

one free league, two $25 leagues and the last one was $100 entry (took 2nd place last year)...

I benched Ekeler for Derrick Henry. Lost about 10 pts on that move but I'm still up about 70 pts on my opponent. I'll have to do some shuffling because Diggs laid an egg yesterday. Might have to start Landry or Cobb depending on who they play this week. I have Noah Fant (who?) playing TE on Denver tonight. TEs have been a crapshoot after the big 3 (Kelce, Kittle and Ertz) so I took a chance with him. Flacco likes to throw to TEs so why not? We'll see tonight.

Just two. I was in was 3 at one point and then one year I won all 3. I thought "Welp - its all down hill from here." and cut back to 1. I went back up to 2 this year

But yeah its tough when you have and are playing against the same player "Throw to that guy. But not too much. I need him to get 18 points but not 20"

I had Jackson on my bench, but Wentz did pretty well for me. I ended up winning by about 23, so it wouldn't have mattered much anyway.

Edit: Some people in my league got screwed this week. The guys who had the third and fourth most points both lost.

OBJ killed me last night. Up by almost 30 pts, had Bell vs OBJ and the Jets let him rip 160+ yards and a TD. Lost by 4 pts....

Thoughts on Tyreek Hill for the rest if the season? I have a chance to acquire him for a 2nd and a 6th next year. I kind of want to pull the trigger, but am pondering pushing the 6th a couple rounds later. Anyone have a gut feeling one way or another?

Dynasty league or Keeper? If dynasty then I'd accept quickly. If Keeper then we need more info about keeper costs and who would likely be in next year's draft pool in the 2nd/6th rounds.

New info. Guy changed the trade for just a 2nd now. Keeper league, 2 players. If you draft a guy in round 6, it would cost you your 5th rounder next year to keep him and so on. But there are no limitations as to how long you can keep players, as long as you're eventually ok with giving up your 1st round pick every year.

Meant to add: My current starts are Ridley, Cupp, and Chark Jr., so I need a WR 1. Someone also offerred me Julio for a 1st and 4th, which seems steep to me.

So you're getting 'Reek for a 2nd in 2020 and you can keep him at a 1st round cost in 2020 and for perpetuity? I think that's a completely fair deal. Whether to take it depends on if you think Hill is the missing piece to winning this year, obviously if you're 0-5 he's not going to help you much right now. And you already have a WR1 in Kupp, he's absolutely Goff's favorite and the next PPR coming of peak Julian Edelman.

Alright, honestly, I pulled the trigger on both. I countered the Julio trade for a 1st and a 4th with a 3rd and 5th and they bit. So yes, I am mortgaging next year for this year. But my team should be good.
