Yes, and Ohio issue #1 is the poster child for that. Republicans created a huge word salad in an attempt to confuse voters.
Fortunately, enough people gave enough of a damn to sort this out and told these corrupt republicans to fuck off.
It is a toss up to which is worse, corrupt politicians or lazy voters.
-They fact that Pols would deliberately put as many roadblocks as possible to enact the will of their constituents seems worse to me.
It's a power imbalance, the avg voter is busy, tired, and has their attention split in a thousand different directions. It's hard enough when the issues and props and everything are clear.
Then then Pols whose job it is to represent people or at least get them to change their minds don't do any of that and deliberately lie and obfuscate to pull a fast one on the people they're supposed to represent.
Ohio was such a dick slap to Republican bullshittery, it puts a smile on my face just thinking about how much horse shit the avg voter trudged through to stick it to those assholes.
Now if only those same voters would recognize who just tried to fuck them...
