Media has been after Biden ever since the US Withdrawal from Afghanistan.
It was nakedly obvious to anyone paying attention to the articles coming out. Is it too much to just ask the media to cover shit fairly and call out Trump for his egregious lies? Of course, calling out the administration and Biden when they are lying too, but even good jobs reports are spun as horrible for Biden and the American people.

Also, maybe the campaign has done enough calculations and whatnot but they need to address the Gaza issue asap. There are tons of young people who are going to sit out and just vote down ballot on this issue. Yes i think they are morons if they think voting for trump or sitting out is going to help their cause, but this is a huge blindspot and could cause a similar Bernie style 2016 fuckup.

Trump +19 with Indies? Oof.

And only 4% turnout for Dems in SC primary...damn even frigid Iowa mustered 13% for Trump. And they're both non-competitive primaries.

Biden is cooked. Our only hope is flipping the House and trying to grind the gears down but when Project 2025 and UET is set into motion, even that won't matter.

The only thing SC tells us is that 1) black voters are likely not abandoning Biden 2) the core of the party has no real interest in an alternative.

If you wanna compare raw vote totals Trump got less than half in Iowa what Biden got in SC.

Anyway if you're interested in opinions about polling this time of year I suggest speaking to President John Kerry and President Hillary Clinton for some views.

There seem to be competing polls and meta-analyses forecasting victory for either candidate. It's far too early to say anything about the face-off between the two of them.

Though the low turnouts in both party Primaries suggests to me there's just a general lack of enthusiasm for the whole business, and maybe a belief that the choice of candidate in both parties is a foregone conclusion so why bother? Perhaps everybody's just exhausted after all the drama and conflict of the last few years?

Politicians have no connection with their voters. This guy Fetterman turned out to be a huge ass for his Democrat voters. He is an extreme supporter of Israel and goes out of his way to antagonize his critics. Supposedly he got plenty of money from AIPAC but that's not unusual. Many, many politicians get money from AIPAC and other pro-Israel lobbies but this guy is something else. He is an extreme Israel supporter. I am sure his progressive voters are regretting their stupid decision to vote for him.

As far as Biden, this guy has claimed to be a Zionist so I am not surprised. He's been pro-war and has said in the past that he would try to impeach Bush if he went to war with Iran but now he is antagonizing Iran.

And now he sanctioned 4 settlers in order to gain favor with Muslims in Michigan? Pathetic. It's too late. You stood by while Israel committed and still is committing a genocide using your weapons.

Fuck the Moose lambs.

They're no friends of ours..
More than 12% of the country is LGBT and they love throwing LGBT out of tall buildings and execute them for insulting Allah.

We can do a better job of outreach to LGBT instead of them.

The highlighted language was flagged as Islamophobia, and it unfortunately reads that way, even if the poster simply got carelessly caught up in wretched rhetorical excess. In any event, I am forced to act.

Starmer having the same problems as Biden

Given the dismal Conservative polling (and that they are themselves losing support to the ridiculously-named "Reform Party" - about time the right had to cope with a split vote), and given the nature of FPTP, it probably won't make a lot of difference though.

People just want it to be 2019 again. The problem is that nobody, especially not Trump, can deliver that.

People expect that prices will go back to 2019 levels and that isn't going to happen. The economy is doing very well and it looks like we have reached a soft landing and the FED will start cutting interest rates later this year. I predict that as soon as the FED cuts interest rates that MAGA will accuse the FED of meddling in politics.

I, average swing voter and low price enjoyer, considering voting for Trump who will drastically increase inflation by tariffs and deporting 10M people out of the labor pool while crashing economic growth at the same time.

Trump has already accused Powell of meddling for Biden by planning cuts.

Still haven't seen anyone explain how Trump will induce negative inflation to reduce prices.

More tax cuts for big businesses? What incentive do they have to lower prices when their margins just got bigger?

And that's before the flat 10% tariffs and mass deportations.

Like seriously, can someone explain to me how Trump is going to lower the price of my grocery bill?

Pretty soon the GOP base will start clamoring for socialist style govt price controls on the free market. The irony will be lost on them, of course.

Trump is proposing a blanket 60% tariff on Chinese imports, to start.

People are dumb fucks, but supposedly consumer sentiment has finally inched up a bit the past couple months. As for 2019, Q3 GDP growth was 2.6% vs 4.9% in 2023 (and 3.3% in Q4). It's already too late for a recession to be officially called before the election, so unless the jobs market deteriorates rapidly this summer, Biden will have a strong economic record to stand on.* But that doesn't mean people will recognize it, since they'd rather have Trump's tax cuts for millionaires and corporations, and sub 3% growth so long as their gas prices happen to be a couple dimes cheaper.

* We all get inflation and housing costs weigh on households, esp. at the lower income strata. I'm not saying Bidenomics is all rainbows and unicorns, but swing voters need to wake the fuck up and stop lying about the economy.

Ironic that the Trumpists seem to dislike Michael J Fox so much.

Though I suppose they did vote for Biff Tannen, come to think of it.
