I look at what France is doing to achieve their own energy independence in Europe and ask why hasn’t the US done the same? Fox is focused on election bullshit and political gotcha games. This is why you get so much grief on this forum. I know you've posted this exact same nonsense in the past and people with real life experience detailed the steps that Transgender youth and their family have to take in order to get on puberty blockers, and all of the medical professionals that are involved in that decision. Then you disappear and come back a few months later like you never had that conversation.

There have been some young people that have been subjected to puberty blockers and surgery and later found it was a drastic error. They have had their lives ruined for this "issue" that very well could have waited until they were adults and made their own choices; good or bad.

It is a complicated issue and due to this I think young people need to wait until adulthood and have a better grasp of the implications of the surgery and understand the real reasons they want it.

But I'll get flamed again in here for my thoughts on the subject. That's fine I have on my asbestos drawers...

Others said sexual abuse or assault made them want to leave the gender associated with that trauma. Many also said they had autism or mental health issues such as bipolar disorder that complicated their search for identity as teenagers.


Echoing what MacKinnon has found in his work, nearly all of these young people told Reuters that they wished their doctors or therapists had more fully discussed these complicating factors before allowing them to medically transition.

They say something that makes it evident they are a kind of triggered conservative. It's not a rant, but a short comment, an an FB post that has political undertones, and a clear line between right wing and decent thinking. I'll point out that it kinda sounds like they were an upset right-winger. For the record you do understand that puberty blockers are not medically transitioning and no one does gender reassignment surgery on kids in the US. You understand these basic facts right? So good news the specific issues you claimed to be most concerned about are not really issues.
