The problem is that the contents of spiral galaxies, including our own, rotate around the galaxies much faster than can be accounted for with visible matter. So there's a lot of something we cannot see. Not one planet. An amount of mass equal to six times all the visible matter in the galaxy. Way too much for us to have just missed with our telescopes. It's some kind of sub-atomic particle. We just haven't found it yet.
