My friend and I both bought our IBM P275s from Azatek. We had no problems. We got the Grade A refurbs. Both monitors came in perfect condition. Both monitors are still in perfect condition and work perfectly to this day.

As to the OP, Sony tubes are the best. My IBM P275 has the best picture I have ever seen, easy.

I've owned Nokia, ViewSonic, and several Sonys. Have used mostly Sony and NEC at work (currently have a G520 at work). I've seen quite a few off-brands that my cheap friends go with. I found that Sonys are usually better than just about anything else.

About eight months ago, I acquired a used F500-R for just $100...by far it's the best CRT I have ever used, much nicer picture than my secondary monitor (a 400PS), and considerably better than the G520 I use at work.

I prefer the NEC/Mitsubishi crt's. My 6 year old 19" Mitsu still looks like new and my 22" Nec is gorgeous. They make their own tubes. Dell sometimes has great sales on monitors if you're not in a hurry. Sony's are nice but usually more expensive. I don't know about now but in the past Sony did a lousy job of packing their monitors and many were damaged in shipment.
