LOL your loss
Guess not. Had to turn it off and go do something entertaining instead.
It was a movie about two young police officers who go undercover at a high school in an attempt to have sex with under age girls.
Yeah, nothing creepy there.
The mission was to infiltrate the dealers, find the supplier.
Dear OP
The movie was better than you think it was. I enjoyed it. There was even a sly acknowledgement by the movie itself that remaking 21 Jumpstreet as a movie was a questionable proposition.
the new 21 jumpstreet is one of the funniest movies i've seen in a long time. i thought it was going to suck because i think channing tatum is a bad actor, but he did an awesome job in it.
everyone i know who has seen it thought it was great.
See, thats the thing. I like Jonah Hill and I love funny movies. I hate movies that try too hard to be funny though, and this was that movie. It tried so hard to be funny that it was painful all around.
Jonah Hill was great in Superbad and Moneyball, but not so great here. His lines are very stressed and fail miserably.
When you have to resort to shouting curse words to try to get a laugh, it rarely works, as was the case here. I gave up after they were reprimanded by their boss for not finding the supplier of the drugs and were sent back to school. If it gets better after that, then great, but up until that part, like 30 minutes or so into the movie, I think I might have laughed once.
Both video clips in this thread lack any funny. Right now I'm on the op's side.
