Yep, thank god they got me before the cops did or that would have been yet another P.I. ticket

Yup. I even got a helicopter ride once.

I was life-flighted when I was born, to another hospital. 10 weeks premature was a really big deal back then (just a regular big deal now).

Since then - nope

Yes, I passed out from blood loss due to a bleeding ulcer and my wife called the ambo to take me to the hospital. No fees from the hospital (yay Canadian medical coverage), but I did get a bill for $190 for the ride.

Yes, when I was in a bad wreck in April of 1985 .. it was my fault and I awoke in the hospital after some minor stitches for a cut on the scalp. Don't know how long I was out but there were no other injuries (maybe a bruise or two)

Never been picked up. But i worked on one for a short while as an EMT. Always a jittery feeling when rolling up to some house you've never been to. Going upstairs into a strangers room, finding someone you've never met on the floor.

Yes. I was in a fairly minor car accident, but got bad whiplash and felt/heard a pop in my neck. I thought I was fine, but an EMT watched the whole thing happen and told me not to move. I gotta say, props to the EMTs for being able to lift a person out of a sitting position without moving their spine, but man, the ambulance itself scared the crap out of me. Despite having a collar on, despite having the blocks next to my head, etc., I could feel the stretcher moving all over the place inside. If I had a serious neck or spine injury, the ambulance ride probably would have sealed the deal.

On the other hand, when they were asking me questions to see if I was really with it, I completely forgot what date it was (I think I managed to answer the year, lol), and when they asked me who the president was, I fumbled for the name and just said "some asshole." They must have thought I was a lot worse off than I was.

I fell through the slats and ceiling of our garage attic, while helping move out of a house, when I was 13 or 14.

I landed flat on my back from 12 feet, and my head hit the soft side of a golf bag. I was mostly fine though a nail caught my knee on the way down (had to get stitches for that). My wind was knocked way the fuck out though, and I was just starting to breath semi-normal by the time paramedics arrived. They insisted we take a trip to the ER on a stretcher w/ neck brace, just to be sure.

Believe it or not, never.
(You gotta know me to realize just how unbelievable)

I have, however, spent quite a few hours flying in EMS helicopters.

Mhmm. Couldn't breath one night when I was little. Took me to the hospital and turned out I was a little psychosomatic.

Air Ambulance - this was last year. I think the bill, covered by insurance, was $16k plus for a 16 mile lift. What was funny is my sister couldn't go for a ride, so she drove to the hospital and beat the helicopter there.
