23.12 nVidia WHQL Drivers out!

i currently run 23.11 drivers and they support the original tnt (i have a diamond viper v550). these new drivers do not have the tnt card listed. tnt2 and varients yes, but not the tnt.

ps. and don't tell me to by a new card!

You probably didn't install them right, or didn't do something else right, you're the first person I've heard say that about the 23.12 drivers, and I've now read 100's of posts about the 23.12's in a bunch of forums so far...

Oh yeah, no problems whatsoever after installing the 23.12's yesterday.

Looked at driver versions, all at 6.13.10.2312
I'll admit it doesn't happen as often as it did before, and It's only happened once so far with 23.12
I've ran 3dmark2001 and 2002 numerous times with no problem, but got it playin Sim City 3000
I'm sure they're installed correctly.
Maybe everyone elses isn't (just kidding)

i installed 23.12 3 days ago.. no Nv4_disp.dll problem so far!..

now back to rock solid

and i've also found a way to turn off mouse acceleration in games as well ! weee hooo!

Anybody running it with AGP 4x in Win XP ? My system kept crashing in 23.11 when set to AGP 4x. It crashed just from web surfing.

have tried the driver for several days now, it is rock solid so far, with my corrupt system which is soon to be formated proves this driver is very stable driver pumped out of Nvidia in a long time HIGHLY RECOMMANDED!

probably this one doesnt offer anything new or speed bump and the version number is barely an increase which contradict to all of their official releases.

I agree with GY... very subtle changes (actually, I can't seem to find anything behaving differently from 23.11). Probably just not worth the trouble

and NVidia didn't want slammed for limited value of the update. (only my guess....)

I had problems with the 23.11's on of all things, a text based baseball game , OOTP3. The graphics were all messed under D3D mode. So I went back to the 21.83's, which fixed the problem.

I'll give the 23.12's a test run a.s.a.p

Because they're not official drivers; they're leaked.

some people report success in 23.11 crashes/freezes by deleting rmm.pdr in Win/system/iosubsystem
(real mode port driver)

original ASUS 23.12 pulled immediately due to bugs.
