Nice price! Im a big fan of HP's monitors these days. Have the 2509b currently and it is superb. 25" screen for $200 and outstanding PQ.

I'm debating getting this. I had a 25" with dual HDMI that got knocked out by lightning. At least this has a DVI and HDMI connections. But what's the deal with part of the screen surround being a light gray color. Ugggh... I wonder if painting over would somehow void the warranty. My objection isn't that it's ugly, it's the contrast when viewing movies on the screen. OOS online keeps you from using a $25 off $75 coupon as well unless you could find a printable one. I haven't seen any better advertised deals for BF either, with the exception of picking up a Dynex 24" 1080P LCD TV for $79 at BB and using it as a monitor. I'll pass on camping out to get one of those though.

Awesome deal! I picked up one of the last three available at a local Staples, and hooked it up a few minutes ago. A super deal for $100 plus tax. Display looks nice and I don't see any dead pixels. I'm moving up from a 19" 1280x1024 4:3 Samsung LCD with a stuck pixel in the middle, so I'm in love!

Conehead433, the bezel is black but glossy. The gray in the picture is reflected light.

Anyway got in on the online deal early this morning got 3 for eyefinity gonna have to jimmy rig a mount since they don't have vesa capability. But they are super light so maybe some big patches of velcro will do the trick!

There definitely was another thread for this yesterday, but I can't find it now. I already have one of these, and am picking up another one tomorrow.

Thanks for the info. Go figure, my nearest Staples shows to be out of stock now. I'll check for a few days if they get any more, but that's not usually the case with items at Staples. For the life of me I couldn't understand why they would make the bezel as pictured.

You can buy in-store for the same price. Some stores still had them in my area this afternoon, and one store is holding one for me. Make sure you call before making a trip.

I just bought the last one at the bellevue wa store. Big step-up from my dell 1707 fp haha.

as a side note they have a floor model clearance on 1 Dell U2410 for $229.00 in the bellevue store if anyone is around that needs one.

wow, i'm pretty annoyed right now. i called one of the local Staples and put the last HP 2311x within 50 miles on hold earlier this afternoon. when i got to the store, i saw someone walking out the door with an HP 2311x. when i went to the counter to get my monitor, the guy told me that they had just sold the last one. the level of incompetence of the people who work these stores really is unbelievable...

right now i'm trying to justify my disappointment by telling myself i didn't just drop $100 lol...

Appears to be out of stock at every store within the 408 area code (Bay Area). A Menlo Park store appears to have at least 1 left.

It's still on their website, just not shown at the OOS link in the OP's post. Just go to Staples.com and click on the weekly ad. You can still search by location. Sold out anywhere close to me. Bummed that I missed out, as there just aren't as good a deals on BF for any monitors with HDMI.
