Kinda bummed that I missed out on this! I've been interested in the Ancestry, so I guess getting Ancestry DNA for $69 isn't too bad. I would've been interested in getting the health info too though.

Grew up believing I was Italian and Irish because that's just what my adoption papers said I was.

My 3 most common surnames with DNA closest to mine are Rivera, Rodriguez and Perez. 75% mixture of Italian, Iberian (spanish/portuguese) and "Southern Europe" which is basically just Spain, Italy and Greece. I was also 7% Native American

This is like, really vague. You don't have percentages of those Italian/Spanish/whatever? Otherwise some sort of 75% Italian mix would just confirm what you knew? Yet the surnames are hispanic?

Mine, Ancestry, gives a breakdown.
97% Europe: 47% West Europe, 28% Ireland, 14% Scandinavian (surprise), 4% Iberian Peninsula, 2% Finland/Northwest Russia, 2% Great Brittan.....white bread.
I didn't get any info on surnames. It did give areas of early settlement in the US. Right where I expected.
