24" Acer at CC

I know its probably a TN, but would this be a good monitor for gaming? anyone have this?

The soyo is not good for fps gaming its a cheap mva panel. = ghosting

i had an earlier version of it... the al2416 or something with a TN panel. the colorshifting was so bad that it made me feel sick and dizzy.

i ended up just downgrading in size to a 20" nec 20wmgx2

Dude the SOYO does not ghost WHATSOEVER. I've played many a game on it at high FPS without a single problem.

TN panels are the "cheap" ones due to being 6-bit. They do have fast response times though.

The Soyo shouldn't ghost due to its speedy response times... AND it's a 8-bit MVA panel, which matters for a lot of people.

Soyo 1 year warranty from a shadey company.

Acer 3 year warranty and good support.

The Soyo does not ghost. It plays GTA, Flight Simulator and other games just fine. I looked at the Acer before the Soyo and preferred the Soyo. I am happy with mine.

I agree. Soyo has shady tech support. I've been through hell with them to exchange a motherboard and a Power Supply (which, coincidentally, they no longer produce.)
