I plan on using two 24" monitors vertically and was wondering if you guys knew of a reasonably cheap option.

Thanks!

U2412M does that I think.

It depends on what you mean by "reasonably cheap". Those run about $330 each I think.

Be cautious buying TN panels to do this with. The results are likely to make the "reasonably cheap" option be less than worth it.

yes. But these aren't TN panels.

Note when you try to turn the 2412m sideways it doesn't automatically switch to portrait/landscape view.

There's also a lot of used dell 24" ultrasharp IPS monitors floating around ebay for <$200. I just grabbed a 2407wpf for $185 last week. That, or you can just buy a stand on Amazon and attach it to any monitor with VESA mounts.

Here's a stand for $44.
http://www.amazon.com/Standing-Horizontal-Monitor-Stand-Widescreens/dp/B003Q3S7LM/ref=pd_sbs_op_1

I have this stand, and for the price, it's fantastic. Got mine for $57 shipped using Prime -- it's the same item as the quoted link. Excellent build quality, easy to put together, very sturdy base (NOT bolted through the desk...if you're going to do that there are better options IMO), and perfect for my needs.

Keep in mind, however, that the base will take up a large chunk of space in the middle of your desk, but still saves you LOTS of room overall and also gives you great flexibility with moving your screens. Also, this stand has very basic options for arranging your screens. They can rotate freely, but there's only two movable joints on each arm, and they're at the middle and the end of each arm, so if you want to bring smaller displays closer together, you will have to bring the monitors closer to you. Also, there is NOTHING supporting the height adjustment or the vertical tilt once those adjustments are loosened (which is why this stand is so cheap), so if you don't want your monitors crashing down on your desk when you adjust those settings, you should finalize them on a bed/couch, or at worst a carpeted floor, if you don't have someone to help you with the weight/bulk of setup. Make sure everything is TIGHT before you transfer to your desk. The only settings that I didn't tighten fully are the rotation and the horizontal swivel, both of which work perfectly for my setup.

I'm running the 2x24" Soyos in my sig, and they're bent in at a VERY slight angle to keep the bezels touching in the middle. The stand is sturdy and has plenty of room for this setup. I also like it's height, which allows me to keep the bottoms of the monitors (which are taller than normal due to the crappy speakers that I don't even plug in) several inches off my desk so I don't have to slump down in my chair to get a comfortable viewing angle.

TL;DR: Great stand for what it is. Read the amazon reviews, and don't buy it unless it fits your needs.
