I thought she did fine in the last season. She was designed to be, and pretty much was, a counterpart to Bauer.

It figures though that there was an agenda, her role seems unlikely otherwise, to set her up for the new lead.

I don't mind the idea because the show was flawed enough before. It's like refusing to watch Bond because they change Bond's - still similarly worth watching anyway.

I was excited for 24 to return the ninth season, as I was missing the adrenaline-fueled stupidity of that series.

But it was clearly reaching on material and with a format that has long since overstayed it's welcome. I could barely finish season 9, it was just bad.

Please, no more.

As much as I liked 24, they should just let it die. Ain't no 24 without mah boy Jack Bauer. By the rights to "The Unit" and get the cast and crew together and make new episodes of that instead.

Been doing a rewatch of 24 lately, just hit Live Another Day. It really should've ended with Day 8. LAD has its moments but it's still reaching. Legacy has nothing to interest me.

Bauer is going to trade in his gun to be president in Designated Survivor.
