since when is a good price on a pre-order not a hot deal? granted, i don't know if this is a great price.. but still.. pre-orders can definately be a hot deal, ie the coconuts.com star wars dvd set deal..

Warning: First season was great. Second season was good. Season 3 made me stop watching. It was so far fetched (oh my, not another obviously suspect mole) that I turned if off. The 3rd season was unwatchable.

Mmmm..... it's September now and the release date is in December, so this it's almost a 3 month wait......I don't think most people want to wait 3 months just to maybe save 5 bucks....and since we don't really know if it's a good price on a bad season, it will probably be cheaper closer to the release and afterwards. So it's not a hot deal.

I don't really want to get into an argument about the season, since it all comes down to taste anyway. But your comment implied that you stopped watching sometime around episode 4 or 5 (I don't want to bother checking the specifics). The entire story arc has almost nothing to do with what seems "obvious" in these early episodes. A good season that takes a while to get into the swing of things. but hey, maybe not for everyone.

Yes, I stopped watching after the plot exposed yet *another* undercover mole who had unchecked access to top clearance information. First it was Nina and after her another mole...??? Nah. I deleted it from my ReplayTV recording right then. IMO season 3 = a lame dragout of the first 2 seasons. Season 4 = Doubtful. That said, I'd watch it over any reality show. A curse on all those who watch them... :disgust:

agreed.. but since robor stopped watching after they "exposed yet *another* undercover mole ", he didn't see the twist after that.. i'm not going to ruin it for anyone that's gonna watch the season on dvd.. besides, i'm sure there are plenty of old season 3 threads out there in off topic...

in my opinion, season 1 was obviously the best show ever.. both season 2 and 3 were good.. i enjoy the show a lot.. can't wait for season 4 to start

too bad your turned it off b/c that guy wasnt a mole at all, he was part of an undercover operation and had to keep certain other people in ctu quiet to complete his task. He was going on orders by the head of ctu and working w/ jack bauer.

I didn't only stop watching because of another mole in CTU. I also stopped watching because the love stories between every major character and the blond that can't act her way out of a wet paper bag. Season 1 was great. Season 2 was very good. Season 3 got turned off and I don't regret it.

You serious? It's a huge series for FOX. Season 4 starts in January and has a whole new cast.. only Kiefer Sutherland stays.
