240Mhz possible with this ram?

i have 2GB (1GB X 2) Corsair XMS memory. the link provided below...

q1. the default voltage is 2.6V and i'm planning to overclock. how high can i raise the voltage without the risk of permanent damage?

q2. it's DDR 400 memory, which is rated at 200Mhz. Anyone ever succeeded in running DDR 400 memory at 240Mhz with raised voltage, or is it totally unheard of? if 240Mhz is unrealistic, what's the reasonable goal i should be aiming at?

all you can do is try. those have Samsung UCCC chips, so don't exceed 2.8v under basically any circumstances. most of the UCCCs do their best at lower volts rather than higher, i.ei 2.50v-2.65v or so. Mine get less stable over 2.65v, fwtw.

you might even be able to run 240mhz at those timings...if not, try 3,4,3,8 or 3,4,4,8.

For that sort of money, you could just get some ddr500. It's the bestter way to go in my opinion.
