Did this deal at the beginning of January. Received the scale within a week. Used the $25 of postage by fleabaying some stuff, so converted that to cash. The trick is to change plans to the simple plan about 2 weeks into your 30 days trail period. This way, you should still get your $25 CompUSA GC, as they have made a charge. I, however, was charged $15.99 at the end of my first month, even though I changed plans to the simple plan and should only have been charged $4.49 :disgust: Good job I had no money on my debit card so they couldn't get their money Now I just have to close my account and wait for the GC...oh, and send they a cheque for $4.49 and tell them where to stick their overpriced service.

Two points:

1. Someone said something about mailing to Korea. Internet postage can only be used for the US.

2. I believe the post office will reimburse you a percentage of the postage if you take printed but unused postage (e.g. missadressed. wrong amount, etc.) to a post office. If someone knows the details, please post.

I got in on this deal last year and cancelled within the first month. I still got the $25 CompUSA GC about 3 months later, but now apparently you have to stay past the first month go qualify.

That was estamp.com. Stamps.com has only ever offered free postage and scale. I got the estamp printer deal a long time ago and then when they went under I got ythe stamps.com thing. Then, they were offering $50.00 postage (no CU GC) and the scale (they ended up shipping me the more expensive deluxe scale instead of the cheap one). Did the same thing and cancelled after the required time period. Well worth it IMHO.
