Are you talking about the 1800FP? If you are that is great! I too just picked one up in the forums for $450. Sadly, I won't be able to test it until sometime next week as I am waiting for my computer parts to come.

suprise suprise, my lcd's arrived today. My kid is using the 1800fp right now. Looks great. I was a bit worried cause it had some wavy line on the display from the pc. But it turns out that that was caused by having the wrong video drivers installed on the new dell pc. I had just gone and done a windows update and used the driver from there instead of the one from the dell support website. After using the ones from the dell support website everything looks good.

I am going to wait till my new pc gets here to open and use the new 1901fp. Less of a shock to the wife if I wait a bit....

I just ordered the 1901...it's on it's way. I got in on the 25% off Too bad I didn't have a stackable 10% coupon

I'll give a short but honest opinion of it after a week or so of playing around with it....

Just installed my 1901fp and I'm happy with it.

Are you guys using DVI or analog? DVI looks friggin blurry.

Took out the analog connectors and installed the dvi with no problem. Comp immediately recognized the lcd and installed the Dell driver.
Using it right now and it looks better than my Sony GDM500 monitor.

Ok is the driver worth installing? Will it help make the monitor clearer?

Yah I did my 1901 yesterday. Beautiful monitor. Brightness, contrast and colors are terrific. No dead pixels. However, the latency issues leave a lot to be desired for gaming. In that regard seems similar to the 191T to me.

Dell usually overestimates shipping times...I've had orders show up a whole week ahead of schedule. Maybe they try gathering brownie points from us by underpromising.

I'm wondering, is the better image quality of an 1800FP worth the "upgrade" from my NEC MultiSync FE1250 22" (20" viewable) flat screen trinitron display? I'll lose a good 2 inches, but will gain a lot of desktop space and a cleaner picture. I've had my mouse hovering over the order button for a few days now!

The cd didn't have any drivers. All I found was the instruction manual in multiple languages.

Is there still a deal here on the 1901fp or did I miss it? I see that in addition to not having the 20-25% off, they also raised the price back up to $750 (where it was supposed to be) instead of $700.

Yea looks like only selected LCDs are on sale, and only until the 6th! The 1800FP is very tempting, although it would be a downgrade in size ... its a very nice LCD and would take up less space on the desk here. To buy or not to buy, that is the question...
