I would think you could just call your local borders and ask them what kind of documentation you need to bring with you to show that you are an Educator....

Also at locations of Walden Books and probably the other companies that are all owned by the same place as Borders. Saw a sign in the mall today advertising this same deal.

Generally all you need to prove that you are an educator is a school ID or a pay stub. However, I've even been able to use another store's teacher discount card as proof of being an educator (ie, Staples Teachers Rewards which requires no ID) while saying that I left my ID at home.
