I did this deal a while back. It's only a 1 page app and they send you a $25 gift card for Olive Garden/Red Lobster with your credit card. Just chop the credit card up when you receive it and go out to eat.

Just an FYI * * If you apply for a lot of credit cards for the GC's, cash, etc. - like I do! - you may want to actually call and cancel the ones you really don't want.

Some Credit Bureaus will refuse you credit if you have too many existing CC's.

This has already happened to me and I have a real good credit history.

Good point. Several things go into estimating your credit. Not only the number of credit cards you have, but also the number you have applied for. A great idea to cancel any and all that you don't use, especially if you just signed-up for some promotion.
