There's two different generic -R 25-packs. One is $19.99, the other $24.99.

FYI, the store in Henderson NV on Stephanie is out until probably the end of next week (12/5).

doesn't matter how long the movie is, it matters how many gigabytes it is. a full disk is about 15 minutes for 4x, 30 minutes for 2x.

and the price did not go up to $25. me and my buddies rolled through the San Diego store today, and picked up 5. there was 5 of us, but he just rang them up all at once. $20 still. only had one or two left.

Like it was said before, they jacked up the shipping, I got 2 spindles with $11 shipping and I am on the other side, east coast.

These are the best 4X DVD-R I've used so far. Had only 1 coaster out of 100 + burns and that was because I tried to listen to mp3 and browse the web while burning at 4X (dumb).

I've tried all kinds of 4X media on my DRU500A and got mixed results. Memorex 4X burns at an abysmal 2X. If I burn at 4X, they mess up 50% of the times. Generic 4X discs (don't know what brand, bought 2 different packages) had about the same result as the Memorex discs (they are CMC Magnetic). No problem burning any 2.4X DVD+Rs though. And those cheap 2X Verbatim discs were pretty good.

Also, this is a real deal (25-pack 4x DVD-R (Ritek G04) @ Pc Club for $19.99) if you can pick them up at a local store. Otherwise, buy these for about a buck a disc with shipping options starting at $5.

These are great discs for burning but I can't believe that whoever designed the orange label looked on it with pride and thought it would be a killer design.

They are quite hideous. They would probably be great for Halloween movies.
