25000 to spend on new car, what would you get?

I may be getting a new car in the next few months. If you had 25k to spend, what would you get? No trucks or sport utes though. I'm considering a Nissan Altima, but I'm still undecided. Doesn't have to be new though.

Well, a corvette would be nice, but I don't need anything that would kill my insurance. Something with good gas mileage would be good, but it needs to still be reasonably powerful.

Toyota Corolla s 2003. 18 grand fully loaded, you couild put the cash down and use the rest for insurance. Think of all the extra money you would have for just everyday stuff. No car payments Mmmmmmmm!

What he said, you could easily get a 2003 Accord LX auto for $19k.

Or I'd get a Subaru WRX.

You might want to base your decision partially on where you live... If you live in Alaska or Minnesota you might want something ith AWD/4WD. If you live in Flordida or Texas, a FWD or RWD would be adequate. I bought my Subaru WRX about a year ago, and I live in Chicago. It was a great decision
