Well guys, Just received my ram... runs just fine on my KT-7 RAID at 133... My sisoft sandra benchmarks went up also, but I am sure 512MB helps... Now to start tweaking it!!!!

Okay, this is driving me crazy, because my ram still won't work in my KT7-Raid, and it seems like it works fine for everyone else.

Let's check this:

What brand is actually stamped onto your chip? My memory has SPEEDY stamped on it. Never heard of it before, but that's what's on it. Is it possible we have different ram and that's why mine isn't working?

also a duron (supposedly 700mhz which my friend sold to me...) and i can't get it to run past 815.

i was wondering can you email me your bios settings and how you got it to run that high...

I'll be happy to post my settings as soon as I get back to my apartment. I left on a trip today and I will get back late Tuesday night. I do know I am running cas 3... but I have optimized a few settings and it runs well. For $160 bucks I get 512MB ram or I could spend $130 for some high quality cas 2 stuff to get 5% performance boost and 1/4 the ram... I don't need a five percent boost when the 512 is there, it does run smoother!!! I will post all my settings Wednesday morning...

If they just put the price they really need to make a profit and then reasonable shipping that's cool. Advertising a low price and inflating the shipping is just a shady business practice!

The common price I have seen online is about $15

Okay, I'd really like to order 2 of these sticks for my system, but I have the Abit K7T-RAID Motherboard as well. I just want to run the stuff at CAS3...

There still seems to be a mix response on whether or not this ram works with that board?

Just thought I'd bump with a status update... not that anyone cares... I ordered on 1/3/01 and am still waiting, I did get a tracking number on 1/10/01 and the weird thing is that according to the UPS tracking site, the last scan of my package was a location scan on 1/9/01 @ 1:43AM... it hasn't moved since! What the hell is up with that?:frown:

Um....overnight shipping only counts once its out the door. They dont guarantee any sort of schedule before then according to an email I received from them. Mine is supposed to be here on the 15th according to the tracking email I received.

I received my ram today (ordered on 1/6, processed on 1/8, shipped on 1/10).
I put it in 0 moved my 128 stick to 1.
It is playing nice with my old ram.
It posted 393MB @ 2-2-2-5T no problem on ASUS P3V4X with PIII 550E.
Been running stable for quite a while no problems.
This is a sweet deal.
If I had the cash I would order another stick.
