it is, duh i posted i have a MSI K7T Pro2A too in a earlier post and said it does
Actually, earlier in this thread you said
I saw that last night and almost ordered (i have the AnandTech approvedMicrostar K7T Pro2, actually i have the Pro2A but the only difference is the ATA100) but I'm still worried about the compatibility even though I have a board that should work.
That is great if it is working for you.
The SyncMax tech document listed above gives the parts numbers of the memory as S256M16034 OR S256M16044. At the
(SyncMax Web) follow the
memory module link from the java menu, then the
motherboard compatibility link and you will com to a place to enter memory product number, motherboard chipset, and manufacturer. This can tell you if this memory will work for you.
I entered MSI and KT133 and it shows that a K7T-PRO with a Duron failed with every combination .
FAILED. (all of the other memory chips they make passed though)
Since I have a Pro2-A it is possible that the enhancements and bios upgrades have fixed this problem, but it is very easy to see why I am wary.
We really need to have a survey as to who has had luck using this...
